Digital Footprint

Technology, a particularly important is most people’s lives, but what would have happened if it had never been invented, would there still be people hiding behind their screens doing horrid things to others? The fact is no one knows it does not matter how smart you are or how smart you think you are. No one will ever know, because life is unpredictable and neither destiny nor the future is set in stone. David Wong once said “technology is not good or bad in and of itself. It’s all about how people use it.” I agree with David Wong on the fact technology is neither good nor bad, but at the same time I do not agree, which may be a little bit confusing. It could be used in any situation, but if action is not taken by the world technology could take over. Not in the sense that robots will be killing everyone, but in the fact that more videos and things are going to surface. Influencing the next generation to do what others have done and history will repeat itself. This means we need to act against the group of people terrorizing others by taking certain precautions and actions. One of the best things to do if someone is trying to swindle you call the Canadian scam hotline or visit their website where there are resources to tell you what to do if you are being scammed or have been scammed. If these do not help visit the federal trade commission. Apps, people, and bots can scam you in many types of ways. They make up all types of reasons to scam you, especially with all the new types of payments. Apps can scam you by asking for your location and other personal content by releasing it to others.
