Core Competency Reflection

Examples of where I communicate clearly and purposefully can be seen in the presentation done in class where I am able to elaborate and give further detail towards my presentation. I am clear on the difference between simple “group work” and collaboration as evidenced by my Volcano project where everyone collaborated together and my group had to work around another group member being away. One strategy or activity that stimulates my imagination is thinking of a scary movie or show I used to watch as a kid called “Goosebumps” and the creator of the series inspires me to think creatively. Some of the ways I work to build and maintain relationships are by acting very outgoing and adventurous and trying to make people laugh though it doesn’t work sometimes it still establishes connection and help find common interests.
