Through this project, I learned how Indigenous stories teach important life lessons and values to younger generations. I used my reading and listening skills to understand the deeper meanings behind Trickster stories and other teachings. Creating the poster helped me connect themes like identity, respect, and cultural knowledge in a creative and organized way. I now see Indigenous storytelling as a way to share lessons, and I will carry these messages with me as i grow older.
While making this Indigenous Storytelling poster, I used creative thinking by organizing complex ideas into a clear, visual format. I connected key concepts like identity, teachings, and symbolism using colors, arrows, and categories. I explored new ways to link themes such as Trickster figures, Elder knowledge, and cultural lessons. I reflected on how stories pass down important messages and values, and I found original ways to show those ideas. I revised my layout as I worked to improve how everything connected. This helped me think more creatively and understand the deeper meanings in Indigenous stories.
