I am able to demonstrate the quality of having accountability. For example, after initiating to volunteer for an event, I take responsibility for what the position requires by completing the tasks efficiently. During volunteering for Coquitlam Express hockey game, I was able to be responsible. The card machine that was needed stopped working, so I took responsibility to communicate to the instructor and solve the problem.
Describe 1 Leadership Skill you possess. Provide an example of that skill.
I have the quality of adaptability. I can demonstrate this when I am volunteering for a new event/position I have not done before. I can quickly learn what is expected and follow through. Another example is when I am with a group setting and I can adapt to other people’s ideas even if they can be different from my own.
Describe 1 Leadership Quality you would like to develop by the end of the course.
I would like to improve on having vision as a quality. This is a beneficial quality because I am part of the Diversity club and there is a lot of planning for what the club might do in school. Having a vision for the future can help the planning process and also motivate others.

I would like to develop the skill of risk management. Although I am able to quickly adapt to different situations, I might have some trouble with situations that are negative and unexpected. I can do this by taking initiative to solve arising problems and being part of the solution actively.

I can work with others to achieve a goal through collaboration. I made my own contributions in a group and I was able to be responsible for my own tasks to achieve a common goal. I also used communication to work together effectively.
