Creating a Positive Digital Footprint
The impact of Internet on human life can be said to be revolutionary. It has changed people’s traditional way of life. Through the Internet, people can find what they need from the vast amount of information, exchange information with relatives and friends across the ocean, and sit at home to receive consultation from medical experts all over the world, it can realize online shopping, online e-banking and online marketing. All these are unimaginable in the past. The highly integrated information exchange mode of informatization, digitization and networking make people feel that this new mode brings us quickness and freedom, openness and interaction; At the same time, there are also some people who use the Internet to make huge profits, which goes against the rationality and beyond the boundaries of the legal system and brings great harm to society and individuals
I did some research about me doing internet
I know that my digital footprint can have both positive and negative consequences, including when l using internet, the good way is let can let me learn more things and it will be easier to do some research, the bad way is when l using internet, it’s for my eyes. so, I adjust my actions to using less time to using internet.
Personal/Social Competency Reflection.
o My online support network is helpful to me because they can help me to do research.
o Some short/ long term goals with my digital spaces include don’t always using phone or laptop, using some book is better, and my plan to achieve them is let my mom supervise me.
o I make digital ethical choices such as gaming is 25%, movie is 10%, music is 20%, food is 10%, sports is 25%, chat is 10%.
o Some of my preferred strategies for maintaining a healthy, balanced online presence include limit the time of using electronic products.
o My values around data inform my decisions about my choice about electronic products.
o My strengths as a digital citizen include, they don’t know my profile. They contribute to my community (classroom, club, city, etc.) because we can use silent contribution to help them.
o I think my experiences as a digital citizen, such as online class influenced my choice of course/hobbies/ teams because it can’t really supervise students.
o Some of the ways I work to build and maintain online relationships are online class, and social networks.
o By doing using social networks online, I make a positive difference to my peers.
