I learned what the Abbreviations stands for that I didn’t consider before because then I realized how important knowing them for CPR. This unit also connects with the nutrition unit because it explains how to avoid heart attacks with the right amount of exercise, diet, and nutrition.

My partner and I did coinflips to determine how our our genes and the results of how our baby will will look like. We had a mixed of genotypes and phenotypes alleles resulting in our offspring to look very interesting from a standard human being and the coinflips relates to the parent’s genes, heads is dominant and tails is recessive

The trait that involved more than 2 genes was the eye color and skin color and the more genes that are involved meaning there are more possible outcomes.

We did not want our baby to inherit the square head gene because its not normal for a standard human being also having the square head inherited it doesn’t make our baby look like a real life human. Having the square head makes it have huge ears and lips especially with its connected bushy eye brows which i don’t really like because it gives him a creepy look

My Strengths as a good team leader contribute to group projects in school and outside of school because I can help correct my teammates with their mistakes and motivate them to engage with the group, if someone is down i can bring them back up.

Ethical persuasion technique would be a good one to use if you’re selling a product to people. People the viewing product will know what company it came from and if it’s worth purchasing them and how good is the product quality.
Card Stacking is a clever technique that some companies use to fool buyers on the market. They do this so to gain more money from their products and sometimes if its overdone it can become a scam and some companies got sued. A lot of small companies also uses this to grow their business and compete against the others like McDonalds and Burger King.

I respectfully advocated for my needs on this project by asking the teacher clarification if I’ struggling to understand something on my project. I used to think about most advertisement being useless and now I know the different unique strategies their using to persuade people because of the benefits the company will receive. I now like a little bit more about ads and I sometimes use them to inspire people. One strategy or activity that stimulated my imagination on this project was looking at older ads from the early and mid 20th century and what made me creative is how advertising was progressed throughout the years.
This year in socials I learned a lot of interesting things in history, I mostly enjoyed learning about the wars; French and Indian war 1762, colonization, American revolution and national rivalry, The American civil war, The English revolution, and the French revolution. My first semester of the year, socials was my favourite subject in school, I was a very smart historian and came up with a lot of ideas, I write about things very detailed especially when it comes to the military and wars, and I had fun working on historical projects. This year one of my biggest challenges was math, I struggled with most of my assignments in math class so I tutored for it to improve my grades to pass the course but on my first report card I wasn’t satisfied with the grade I achieved. I continue to work hard with in math and started getting better grades but I still had great struggles, I achieved a Proficient on my second report card and passed the course, and I am proud of myself for passing math 9.

How I communicate with people at school is very different from how I communicate in cadets Junior-ROTC. I’m not really dead serious when communicate with my classmates during a group project and I am not overly strict towards them because school is a different Environment and it has a lot of students living a civilian life.
When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I like to take a brake on my phone and just scroll around on social media. For the mutation project I worked on, sometimes I had hard time focusing on my to work on my project; giving the animal a name and trying to find an accurate images that matches our description.
We did a flame test lab with mixed chemicals and unknown chemicals. We tested each chemical on the fire to see the changing color most of them are hard to light up then once the Q tip is lit most of them has a bright yellow, blue, orange, or green color. We tested 8 chemicals and 3 unknown and mot of them turned orange unless the liquid color is blue and rarely some of them turned purple, green or red.
I was mostly proud of my flame lab test this unit because we it was my first time seeing different colors of fire of different chemicals. It was awesome experimenting chemistry lab, it’s interesting to lit each chemical on fire because most of them take time to light up and after the Q tip was washed it water it can still go on fire. I enjoyed working in labs for chemistry with partners so I can improve more on my communication. I demonstrated my ability to work appropriately with science lab chemicals, my partner and I worked as a team to complete the lab, and I showed some leadership towards my partner and my classmates. We were responsible for the lab equipment, how we treat them properly and maturely for our safety to be successful and not getting exiled from the science lab.
This semister, i completed an independent fiction novel study by reading Free Boy A True Story of Slave and Master. In the book, one of the characters name James Tilton who became a Surveyor General in washington territory enslaved a boy name Charlie Mitchel in Washington where slavery was illegal. Charlie was sent to Tilton as a wedding gift from his cousin Rebecca Gibson, They later moved in Olympia, Washignton and it was a wrongfull decision for tilton because he owned a slave and disobeyed washington laws. James’ action towards Charlie was brutal and harsh he gennuinly gives him harsh punishments like child abuse, locking him up, and doesn’t wanna let him see the outside world. People during the 18 and 1900s should not be inspired by Tilton’s actions about slavery because everyone shouldn’t judged and we deserve freedom and rights. I also practiced using concrete evidence from a text. One of the best peices of evidence i used from this project was Qoutes from the book, Images, or sentences that strongly connects to my facts.
An example of where I built upon someone else’s ideas is by listening to them carefully, gathering information and asking questions if you misunderstood something or needed clarification.
While completing my Socials assignment I faced uncertainty, so I did I would try to remember what i reviewed in my brain google search or ask questions to my classmates before the teacher to be able to feel sure about an unknown information.
I have valuable ideas to share about military history and details about specific things about the topic and do so by sharing about what i know that everyone doesn’t and i can be really precised of what it is.
When i am sad, angry, or frustrated taking a break and going on my phone for a bit and playing games or listening to music makes me calm down and be more productive to do my projects/assignments more faster and efficiently now that the pressure built inside of me has been released.
When i need to boost my mood or re focus on a assignment i release my stress and disctractions from my head, i hop off games or platform on my phone and i can listen to classical music as this help me do my work faster and more efficient.
I notice when people feel left out I like to encourage and support people to make their learning efficient and this also helps with my leadership. I make sure they feel inlcuded and welcomed in the class or group people should be treated equally with respect.

AI helped me to learn alots of things not just history its a very useful tool to use especially if you can’t find any information on google and it can be your assistance while researching.
B) How did you ensure that the work you created was still your own, rather than just a product of AI I don’t just use AI to do my work for me i use my brain or research more and i use my knowledge from i learned in history even from the past.

Competency Reflection
My strategies for collecting relevant information for specific tasks includes my knowledge from what i learned in the past because history is my favorite subject and i don’t forget any information that i research, evidence, and what i hear or listen to. I used evidence to make judgements or decisions as demonstrated in this assignment, i investigated more in by researching, asking AI and using images from history to use as a historiccaly accurate evidence and not false or inaccurate.
My teacher demonstrated how to make fettuccine alfredo pasta and learned the proccess for this recipe. While my teacher is demonstrating how to boil the pasta, seasoning, cooking the cheese sauce, and she showed us what tools and equipment to use. I added seasonings for my recipe like nutmeg a popular seasoning, bay leaf, and roux for my sauce to make it extra cramier, and the best aged parmesan cheese which you can also use for garnish. I cooked the pasta step by step then succesfully completed everything.

As an active listener i was able to remember and follow the whole proccess while my teacher was demonstrating and i can help my group members with steps they didn’t know or good at well. I notice that while being taught how to cook recipes i can feel the confidence of teaching them to my group members, at home, and i can also recreate the recipe by modifying and adding different things. The ways I communicate while cooking is different from how I communicate at cadets or outside of class, respond immidietely my voice is calm and little quieter becuase i’m in a classroom where i may not be incharge of everyone. The way i talk is just my normal voice and i do not want to yell at group members or anyone else in this class becuase most of these people are living a civilian life and i don’t want to get in trouble or be disliked by others.
Goal What i learned from this recipe is adding pasta water for the sauce to make the pasta creamier and taking your sauce off the heat while mixing the pasta in. Next time i cook fettuccine alfredo pasta i’ll add lesser salt while my pasta is boiling since i added too much and make the white sauce little bit thicker and less pasta water.
