Curricular Competency Reflection

SCI. How did you create or interpret graphs, theoretical or physical models, or diagrams to understand or explain scientific ideas? I used graphs to show the difference between 2 different weather datas.

soc. How did you explore the diversity of Canadian Identities and perspectives? I researched more on the Japanese Internment and War Measures Act in 1942.

phe. Which physical activities did you engage in and enjoy the most this term? Soccer (The refs were so bad, I would have had 3 goals. I’m still mad about that.)

cle. What did you learn about or how did you practice effective strategies for healthy school/work/life balance? I started doing projects 3 days before it was due.

leadership. How have you grown in your leadership skills this term? When and where do you think you have demonstrated leadership the best? by making sure my friends don’t do stupid things.

core competency reflection

When I am sad, angry or frustrated, listening to music helps me be more productive or calm.

Topics or concepts for which I can offer detailed feedback or analysis include, chemistry and bio.

I show that I value feedback from others in my group by using their feedback and acknowledging their feedback

personal/social competency reflections.

1.

My online support network (ex. Teachers’ TEAMS pages, Tech Leadership Edublog, Career Centre web-site,Library web-site, Centennial school web-site, etc) is helpful to me because they will always be there to help me with any issues, tech or social. they are kind helpful and supportive all the time to help us want to do better, or make us do better

2.  Some of my preferred strategies for maintaining a healthy, balanced online presence include not using any social media other then discord, spotify, whatsapp, and youtube, so none of the more toxic apps. I make sure not to post anything that could endanger me or people I know, I don’t do anything illegal online. sadly I don’t use a Vpn which are expensive.

3.Some of the ways I work to build and maintain online relationships are helping people to understand their feelings(I talk to people I know online hoping to make them feel better about their feelings). I talk to people online so I can better learn about all types of people and to get to know people from all types backgrounds.
