this week we learnt how to revolve a canvas to build a tire in fusion 360. This was my 11th project with fusion and I thought it went pretty well. It started off with the tire which we used a canvas, we drew it out in 2d, then revolved it to 3d that made the tire. With the rim we made the same thing but we only had 1/4 of the canvas to revolve. When we were using fusion I noticed how much easier it was to use compared to AutoCAD as fusion had a ton more tools then autocad.
I can understand how to use the different types of tools to build different structures and share that I used them.
I can present my results in a way that satisfies me, is organized, and shows I learnt the topic.
I showed I learnt from the units because I made a custom design from a canvas and extrude, with other tools (fillet, sketch, ect)
this is the container that holds the egg, it didn’t work too well, but it held the egg in place.
this is one of the first try to one of are golf tower, theas we kept going it stopped working so we had to make a new one
this is the final version of are golf tower we tied for first in the competition
Of the two experiments we learned how to plan with the scientific method, I learned more about making hypothesis from the egg drop because i had help, and my first one wasn’t that good. When we were doing the golf tower we made so many different prototypes to find which were better to help us do the experiment better. During the experiments it took us a while to get the right tower design but in the end we got one of the highest score because we kept trying to use different ones of are prototypes.
I’m most proud of are experiment the most as it came first of all the other experiments, i’m not to proud of my conclusions as they we’re the hardest for me and lest marked of the 5. When the conclusions we’re hard all I could do was keep going and finishing them because it was harder at the end when I didn’t have any pictures to be able to quote. During the two labs we learnt about how all experiments have the 5 steps, and they have to be in the corecct order to be an experiment, first you have to identify the problem, we did that by getting the assignment from Mr.Assano, second you have to come up with a hypothesis so that you can have a base of your experiment, next you needed to create at least 6 prototypes so that you know what to build, then you do the actual experiment to tell if you hypothesis was supported or not, to proceed you need to know if it was or wasn’t supported, if it wasn’t create a new hypothesis and start again, if it was supported move on to analizing the data and and be happy about it, create your conclusion about all that passed in the experiment and how your conclusion was right, post it and do something else. I showed how I can build things by building a unsuccessful egg drop build and a very successful golf tower build, I demonstrated that I can build on the ideas of others when I built both of them with others well constantly changing ideas, When trying new things, I expect setbacks and failure and use them to develop my ideas, an example of this from the Scientific Method labs would be when are golf tower kept falling down and we couldn’t figure out how to get it to sty still.

personal/social competency reflections.
1.
My online support network (ex. Teachers’ TEAMS pages, Tech Leadership Edublog, Career Centre web-site,Library web-site, Centennial school web-site, etc) is helpful to me because they will always be there to help me with any issues, tech or social. they are kind helpful and supportive all the time to help us want to do better, or make us do better
2. Some of my preferred strategies for maintaining a healthy, balanced online presence include not using any social media other then discord, spotify, whatsapp, and youtube, so none of the more toxic apps. I make sure not to post anything that could endanger me or people I know, I don’t do anything illegal online. sadly I don’t use a Vpn which are expensive.
3.Some of the ways I work to build and maintain online relationships are helping people to understand their feelings(I talk to people I know online hoping to make them feel better about their feelings). I talk to people online so I can better learn about all types of people and to get to know people from all types backgrounds.
