chem 11 titrations lab

chemistry 11 self assessment

I can work with others to achieve my goal by doing the titration lab with a partner. This lab required precise, small measurements of NaOH into HCl. If you put too much NaOH, the HCl solution would turn too pink, but if you put too little, it would just turn clear again. I worked with my partner to add half drops of NaOH to distilled water, but only got a tiny bit into the solution.

Collaborating Core Competency Reflection

I am clear on the difference between simple “group work” and collaboration as evidenced by…

how I gave everyone a job to do even if they weren’t there. how I spent the first-day brainstorming ideas with chance and made Hayden do the voiceovers so he could participate in the group project

I show others that I truly value their contributions by…

trying to fit their ideas into the project and brainstorming ways we could make the main idea better. Or by listening to their ideas and staying on task, we’ll be trying to keep others on task.

One of the ways I ensure my group is clear on the common purpose is to…

make sure to keep the talking on topic so we still have ideas that can go towards the project. Like how talking about how the jagster would be taken care of, led to a district 14.
