Making and Sharing Reflection

making the pancakes was enjoyable since I don’t make them at home for breakfast. after making these pancakes they were probably one of the best pancakes I’ve made, they were soft, moist, golden brown and fluffy. the berry sauce also helped a lot since the pancakes wouldn’t of tasted as good without the sauce. a step by step plan is needed for this recipe because you want the right amount of ingredients. you have to read the recipe over again so you know what your doing and watching the teachers demo very carefully.

Core Competency Reflection

Examples of where I communicate clearly and purposefully can be seen in the kitchen when making food with my table group. communicate by making sure everyone knows their role.

If there is disagreement within the group, I find it helpful to make sure everyone is on the same track before we start anything.

My Stressors

definitely school work is a big stressor for me. Mostly stuff outside of school would be more stressful. The way I deal with stress is mostly play video games like NHL, APEX LEGENDS or call of duty. Lacrosse also helps me by playing in my back yard, going to the lacrosse box or playing a game, going to play hockey is probably my favorite if I have a game or going to stick and puck. Playing with my dogs also helps.

I can work with others to achieve a goal. i do this because I feel more confident working with other people and less stress because they can help me turn the assignment on time.

I find it easy to be part of a group. I can do my share in a group and not disappoint.

I participate in activities that support my well-being and take responsibility for my well-being.

I ask and respond to questions to be an active, supportive listener. still working on it

I make a positive difference to my peers by doing my part to spread positivity in the online community by presenting myself as a good online citizen. 

some ways to help other people on social media is by respecting that person’s boundaries, seeking permission before exposing that person in any posts/stories, and always being a positive person are some of the ways to attempt to develop online connections

Persuasion and Advertisement Techniques

i used advertising techniques such as including a limited time offer to make people feel like they need the backpack due to its lowered price. Through the wording of limited edition, customers may feel obliged to obtain an item that may not be available in the future. The tributes in the hunger games also engage in unforgiving environments. the fact that the backpack is water proof adds to its already appealing design.

Core Competency Reflection

I know the group is working well together when I hear/ see everybody understanding the project so everybody can divide into doing their own questions.

I notice when people feel left out and do this give them tasks to make sure they feel included.

By doing my work or listening in the classroom, I make a positive difference to my peers.
