Hunger Games Persuasion Project

My Advertisement

Persuasion and Advertisement Techniques

i used advertising techniques such as including a limited time offer to make people feel like they need the backpack due to its lowered price. Through the wording of limited edition, customers may feel obliged to obtain an item that may not be available in the future. The tributes in the hunger games also engage in unforgiving environments. the fact that the backpack is water proof adds to its already appealing design.

Core Competency Reflection

I know the group is working well together when I hear/ see everybody understanding the project so everybody can divide into doing their own questions.

I notice when people feel left out and do this give them tasks to make sure they feel included.

By doing my work or listening in the classroom, I make a positive difference to my peers.

Meal Planning Assignment

Problem

We had to find the right times for who was free for dinner, how long it took to make it and who can make it.

Solution

Monday Tuesday Wednesday  Thursday Friday
Classic shrimp scampi Black bean tacos Beef and spinach lasagna French toast Ginger-glazed salmon
Parent A Teen 2  teen1 Teen 2 Parent B can cook the full meal on Friday
Ready for 5pm Dinner ready by 3:45 takes 15 mins to make  Dinner ready by 5pm and takes 80 mins to make Dinner is ready at 6pm  Dinner is ready at 6pm and takes 20 mins to make
Full meal Full meal Full meal Full meal Full meal

Justification

For Monday, parent A can cook classic shrimp scampi and ready by 5pm because parent A gets home at 4:30 and is comfortable to cook anything and parent B has time to eat dinner before their fitness class.

For Tuesday, teen 2 can cook black bean tacos because its the easiest meal to cook and teen 2 is the weaker cooker. 3:45 is when the tacos would be ready and then has time before they have to leave before soccer practice.

For Wednesday, teen 1 can cook the beef and spinach lasagna because they don’t have to go to with their part-time job on Fridays and is able to cook anything.

For Thursday, teen 2 can make a really easy meal that is French toast for dinner and it doesn’t involve a oven to make and can make dinner at 6pm.

For Friday, parent B is free to make ginger glazed salmon for everyone. At 6pm and is free for the whole night but teen 1 will have to eat dinner at work.

Collaboration Reflection

We communicated with our devices and with our ideas and sharing them to each other.

We used the internet to help us with the meals and finding how long everything takes to make or we used Edublog and Microsoft for the whole assignment.

We all chose a day for part 2 of the project and we chose our foods and all agreed on the times the family was free and wasn’t.

I chose the day Friday and for Thursday everyone contributed to a part because we only have 4 people for this assignment and 5 days of the week.
