Creative thinking
An example of where I took a significant risk in my thinking or the expected process was when using animations and other techniques I have never tried while using PowerPoint. I did this to make the project look better and go more smoothly. I would call this a risk because if I was not able to execute what I was attempting to do the project would look very poor.
An example of where I built upon someone else’s ideas is looking through videos of how to use PowerPoint effectively I was able to apply these skills in many different ways. The way I built upon others ideas was by not copying the information straight off of Google but putting my own ideas combined with the information learned.
One strategy or activity that stimulates my imagination is taking a step back and taking small breaks so that my work doesn’t get sloppy and remains well thought out. I complete this strategy by not completely removing my mind from the project so my train of thought isn’t stopped but I also don’t overwhelm myself.
This PowerPoint shows how I have grown my skills in the app and have grown my understanding of the element mercury. Despite my improvement there are still many things I can continue to get better at such as the appearance of my work and the quality of my work.
