How old were you when you started doing chores, do you do chores? I was about four when i first help out with differet chores around the house. i started off with soem eaasy jobs like folding clothes and some easy cleanng jobs. After i mastered those, i started mopping and washing dishes. I think that doing chores is a good way to grow up and learn new things. i started taking public transit when i was in grade 4. It’s a really good way to travel around and explore new places. Although i was impressed by the independence kids in Japan, I think that it depends on what country you live. In Japan, it’s really safe to just let your kids walk around. Their crime percentage is also way lower than most places. Most importantly, their parents train them to be independent so that even if they have work until midnight, they don’t have to worried about the kids. however, i think that puttting your kid on the streets shopping for a few hours when they are 2 is a bit too much. That is just my opinion though.
