A) How did the use of AI assist you in developing this project?

AI was a really important source i used since it provides different sources and gathers ideas for me. I then used my own words and created my work.

B) How did you ensure that the work you created was still your own, rather than was a project that the AI?

i got the help of AI and the source it provides. i read over them and gathered theinformations. then i recreated my work in my own words.

C) Did you agree with the position you had to argue? Why or why not?

i agreed with the position that i had to agrue because i believe that violence can be justified in some situations and i also made my partner change his opinion slightly.

I use evidence to make judgements or decisions as demonstrated in this, i research enough details to make prove my ponit of view.

My strategies for collecting relevant information for specific tasks include searching in google, use the infomation we learn in socials class, and with the help of AI.

• How does school in Japan compare to Canada? Is there anything they do in Japan, that you wish we did at Centennial?
• Do you think that students should have more responsibilities at school like cleaning duty or for clubs/sports? Why?
• How lucky are you in じゃんけん？Would you be able to snag leftovers?

japan’s schools are way different than canada’s. Japan’s schools have uniform and everyone wears the smae clothes to school. compare to here, we get our own choice of clothes. Japan’s schools usally have a swimming pool at school beacuse of the hot weather. i wish that centennial can have a pool or even just a swimming unit in PE. i think students should have some responsibility at school, for example make sure to clean up your space every time or stack up chairs at the end of the day. in sports teams, i think everyone should take turns cleaning up tools or places if needed. i am really bad in rock paper scissors. i never win in that game.

I chose the tree spirit kodama as my yokai. It caught my attention while watching that youtube video. Just by reading the short intro.

This yokai is really special becuase it can become any shape they want. This is also a good yokai. it doesn’t harm people as long as humans are following the forest rules and be respectful to the nature. Ones who cut them down will be cursed for life. many believes that kodama were passed dwon from the elders of that area that they are protecting. A kodama might formed when they are 100 years old. I really like this yokai as it reminds us to reflect on our behaviours to the environment. I hope that others will be more thoughtful about the nature after knowing kodama. Kodama looks fairly like a normal tree and are surrounded with orbs of lights.

I personally think that there’s a difference with western monsters and yokais. Yokai mostly exsits after it was been created for 100 years and each yokai have a story and meaning. Aslo, it’s not always bad like monsters. i think yokaijust stands out more since there’s a more serious background behind it.

I don’t believe in monsters because i genuinely think that they were first created by humans and in animes or tv shows. however, i do respect others thoughts since this is an open minded questions and others may have a different reason.

Personal competency reflection

In this project, i learnt more about the digital world that i spend a lot of time on. Personally, i found a lot new information and steps to improve my online experiences. The internet is something everyone use as a daily basis. Getting to know how to use it correctly and safely is the first think we should learn about.

Internet is a danergous place with traps everywhere. i learnt that strangers can easy get control to my daily life and personal information. This will definitely impact myself, but also the people around me. This is what exactly hackers want to achieve, spreading viruses to as many people as he can. we have to stop that. I found out a lot of different ways to keep my information well hidden and make it as hard as possible for others to access. One of the most important ways i read about was to get help whenever you feel something wrong. Always get a truted adult for help or advice when we are unsure.

Think before you act, there’s no undo on the internet. once you said something or do something there, it will stay forever. There’s a lot of unsafe activities you can do on the internet that can cause you in trouble. i watched this video about a team searching their names on the internet and see what they can find. To my shock, it tracks them all the way back to when the were a kid. i learnt that the internet is just like real life, you got to “treat others the way you want to be treated” never judge others or be mean to others online. If you think that they’ll never know who you are, then you’re wrong.

Although it’s easy to access the internet, there’s a lot more to learn about it. I was glad that i had a lot of take aways from this project, i will always remember these steps and improve myself as an internet user.

How old were you when you started doing chores, do you do chores? I was about four when i first help out with differet chores around the house. i started off with soem eaasy jobs like folding clothes and some easy cleanng jobs. After i mastered those, i started mopping and washing dishes. I think that doing chores is a good way to grow up and learn new things. i started taking public transit when i was in grade 4. It’s a really good way to travel around and explore new places. Although i was impressed by the independence kids in Japan, I think that it depends on what country you live. In Japan, it’s really safe to just let your kids walk around. Their crime percentage is also way lower than most places. Most importantly, their parents train them to be independent so that even if they have work until midnight, they don’t have to worried about the kids. however, i think that puttting your kid on the streets shopping for a few hours when they are 2 is a bit too much. That is just my opinion though.
