my first year

my grade 9 year

this year I enjoyed my woodwork/metal and sewing class because you do little paperwork and its fun. when I am having difficulty with something, I usually get help from a teacher or I read the instructions more carefully. this year I missed reaching my goal of doing my math to go to pre calc 10 but instead I am going to workplace math. im most proud of the things I do in my textiles class. I usually get proficient and sometimes an extending in that class because I really enjoy it. this year i missed reaching another goal of being on time/ in class for my classes. I have learned this year that when you show up to class the assignments get much easier

this video Is very educational and it helped me alot when learning about the French Revolution, I didn’t understand it at first because it was very difficult but after this video it explained it so well I understood everything about it.

this is useful because it shows how even though everyone is in the same class, the difficulty for the students are different for each and every one.

10AM: mom drives us to mall and we buy clothes

12PM: buy food at browns social house next to mall then bus home

2:30PM: bus to movie theatre and get snacks/ watch movie

4:30PM bus/skytrain to downtown Vancouver and get food at cactus club, I have a compass card so we don’t need to pay for the skytrain/bus

6:30 go to concert at Rodgers arena and buy clothes

10PM: Uber from downtown to her house (Pitt meadows)

analysis

I ended up spending 300 dollars ion my special day. I ended up spending 100% of my budget, if I had a budget of 100 dollars I would’ve went to eat at cheaper places and only have gone and done 1-2 activities not all of them. if I had a bigger budget like 500 dollars I would have Uber everywhere and do many more activities and eat at more expensive places.

reflection

I chose my best friend for this project because she has done a lot for me and I think taking her on this special day with me is doing a nice thing for her and we would be spending time with eachother which I care about the most.

by having 300$ I planned on how I could split it into 6 different activities, so I needed to spend roughly 50$ for each so I picked things that were 40-60 dollars in range and calculated it all up to be 300$

some things about me is that i have 3 cats and 2 fish, i like to go walking and hanging out with my friends, and i like to bake. My friends are kind and i love seeing them even though some arent in all my classes, thats okay because i can see them after school. some goals I have is to make new friends and get better at volleyball.
