This is the base equation of a parabola. The different parts make the parabola look different.
The “a” part of the equation effects the change in height as in how skinny/fat the parabola is. It also effects the direction it opens in, “+” it opens up (-) it opens down.
The “h” in the equation represents the distance that the vertex is from 0 on the x-axis (remember that negative goes right and positive goes left)
The “k” is the same as the “h” but for the y-axis

Green is the “k” value (+1)
Red is the “a” value (-2)
The green and blue arrows show how far the vertex is from (0,0)
Self assessment
I made a graph of my equation and breakdown the equation in multiple ways.
In my explanation I used lots of mathematical vocabulary to bring my point across
I used lots of formatting by putting my information and graphs in the same place and lining them up well.
the project I like the best is my Canadian image project it shows the core values of Canada and how it is view as a country. I like this project because it is a collage of a lot of images and I worked hard on it. I learned what it means to be Canadian and how to edit images. I used my communication core competency when I tried to communicate what it means to be Canadian . This shows my skills of image editing and communicating.

a goal I have in the future is improve my studying in every class as well as socials I also want to listen more in class and do more projects that are creative.
this project demonstrated my social awareness as I had to help the group stay on task and talk with my group some times the group would get bored so I would change the game a little and make it more fun. I learned that I work well in groups and am very social. I will apply this in my everyday life because I will have to talk to people and work in groups. so working on this skill will improve my everyday life.
In this project I improved my communication skills and improved on working in a group. I had to work with the people in my group to make this project. Making all our ideas work, brainstorming, writing, talking etc.
In conclusion this project helped me learn and bond with my fellow student as well as communicate to the class our ideas.
The Oxford dictionary defines digital footprint as “the information about a particular person that exists on the internet as a result of their online activity.”
Now with that information in your head there are many ways to create and maintain a positive digital footprint.
The first few are.
1.Make all your accounts where you post any pictures to private where no people can see unless you let them.
2.Post positive content online like a fundraiser or write a nice blog post
3.Consider your future just imagine every post you make is used in court
4.Search yourself online and delete anything you would not want your parents seeing.
But the most effective way to have a positive digital footprint is to not go online.
Any search, link, picture, email, game or call has been recorded even if you have not posted the photo or if you were in incognito every single one has been recorded all of it.
You literally cannot be tracked on the internet even if you say no to it, they will still collect and process your data.
Personal refection
Some of the ways I work to build and maintain online relationships are being online in my free time and joining voice calls with my friends and playing video games with them
By making epic memes online, I make my friends lives amazing.
I know that my digital footprint can have both positive and negative consequences, including tracking of my data and making it harder to get a job so I adjust my actions to not post any pictures on the internet.
Friendship, love, progress, community these words symbolize what it means to live in the unique utopia.
We love are residents so much.
Now a brief explanation of each of these words.
Frenship- in the unique utopia all over town there are people together hanging out making jokes.
Trust- there is lots of trust in the unique utopia the government trusts the people and the people trust the people that’s why the crime rate is 0%.
Progress- there are many factories and different places where we progress society.
We are expanding and growing as a civilization and building more communities.
Community- as you can see there are tons of community buildings all arounds town that people can enjoy.

Communication Reflection
I hope you liked this project I made it on city creator. It about the growth and progression of cities
When we were making it, we would brainstorm, and we started by making two cities then combining the ideas. Noah made it and I help with ideas we used time quite efficiently Noah probably did the most. We made decisions together and worked quite well together. I quite liked Noah’s digizine with the few adjustments I made over all we worked well together.
