Reflecting on my First Year

My Grade 9 Year

This high school year was a very transitional experience because I was in an entirely new environment which I learned to establish independence of my own, by adjusting to class schedules, interacting with new people, and taking control of my own learning. Academically, there was a big significant shift towards developing more consistent work habits and meeting the expectations of acquiring a good academic performance, which was challenging, but manageable and made major improvements on, as well as making some self-discoveries of art-related passion from extracurricular given, which I explore using software’s designs and working with varieties of art projects. Overall it was enjoyable experience, both academically and socially where I met new people and getting out of my comfort zone, and continue to overcome as I’m looking forward for the upcoming high school years.

Favorite Image

My favorite image is felted art piece character from my neighborhood Totoro, although it’s very simplistic and isn’t original, I find it cute and satisfied with the final result.

Favorite Video

My favorite video is the movie project called, “They Both died at the end” mainly because I enjoyed reading the book itself, and I’m very impressed with my work of how the video played out well.

Favorite Quote

Favorite Quote is “’We should discipline ourselves in small things, and from these progress to things of greater value” – Marcus Aurelius , which is a practice I work to follow by as you can’t make progress without struggles.
