Reflection
In the gift-card making assignment, I had to create four products within the constraints of the material given, as well keeping in mind how to express through interactive it was, and develop a message to the audience. Therefore, a strategy I used gathering ideas, is that I find it helpful to write or draw my ideas as they occur, because doing so makes them easier to visualize. However, if there’s a period I’m loss for ideas, I resort to combining various concepts of others and build upon them and finding inspiration through google, other online platforms, however I primality use Pinterest. Overall, I’m satisfied with the final product, with the help of other’s people ideas and my own incorporated creativity. This includes adding textures, deciding the mood through the colors, to support it, by selecting a neutral one rather than vibrant colors to set warm atmosphere to the receiver and applied other previous learnings of the art-element to my pieces.
