It is crucial to stay safe on the internet and be a wear of anything that mite seen unsafe. It is also important to say and post things that are positive especially online because if you have said something that you are not proud of and try to delete it, it will never truly be gone and that might come to bit you in the future if you are having an interview for a job and the person who is interviewing you searches you up (which they will) and finds that unipositive thing that you thought you deleted and because of it they might not give you that job. Some of these unsafe things could be as simple as clicking a like which is really is a vires and then all of your information is stolen and could be sold and that could be personal photos or even thing like credit card passwords and other important things. Some ways you can prevent yourself this from happening is just asking yourself “is this to true to be true” because a lot of these scams are message’s that say “click this link for $1000” and with just a simple click of a button, your life could be in shambles so be aware of that if you are ever put in a situation like that. Some examples of unipositive activity online could be saying raciest thing or homophobic things and other thing among these lines. It is really disrespectful and you just cannot say these kind of things. Some ways you can prevent yourself from doing this is by before sending something think of yourself in the future and how what you are about to send might effect you.

Core Competency Reflection
It is important to know your own digital footprint and what people can find out about you just by looking you up. It is important to not overshare online and know that once something is online, even if you delete it, someone could have saved it and it will never really be gone. Every now and then you should try to search yourself and see what appears and if you find a lot of things coming up that you may not even remember posting and you might want to start taking another second and thinking before you post something.
