Semester Reflection

Ethical Judgment
This semester, I completed an independent historical fiction novel study by reading Son of the Blood Hounds, which is about a boy who taken as a prisoner along with his father by the Yankees. He, along with a few fellow prisoners escape, although his dad was not one of them. He joins the British army to defend Canada and joins a group in the army known as “The Bloody Boys” who’s mission is to ambush the Yankees even with low numbers of soldiers.
This project helped me understand ideas should or should not be emulated by showing the long term effect and how much blood and chaos it causes perhaps even for their own people. Recently, Russia has tried to takeover Ukraine because Russia wanted more land. This has brought a lot of harm and damage into peoples lives especially Ukrainians, but Russia also thought this would be an easy task, but to their surprise the Ukrainians have so far been able to hole them off. This is the same thing the Americans tried to do in the 1800s.
I use express myself with concrete evidence by researching online and finding really and important evidence to support my thinking. I did this in the second question by researching an example of a real, recent event so I could support my claim.
This is significant in life today because there is a lot of false information online and you need to find the true and also important information to support whatever it is you are doing.
Core Competency Reflection
I can examine and evaluate to improve my own work; evidence of that is in the independent novel studies project. I felt, over the weeks i have improved my reading and writing skills from before we started the project.
I have valuable ideas to share about and do so by sharing it to the class my raising my hand instead of keeping the thought to myself.
While completing my part D project assignment I faced uncertainty so I asked you for help to be able to complete the assignment to the fullest of my abilities.
