The Writing Process

Something I found difficult about reading this book was when we first started, I didn’t feel motivated to read it and I felt like I wouldn’t enjoy it, so when I was reading it, it felt like just another assignment, that I didn’t want to do. But once I took the time to enjoy the book, I was excited to read and see what happens next, once I got through the phase of not wanting to read it, I really did enjoy and I’m glad I read it. The book was very easy to read once I was enjoying it, and I could read it quite fast, which I noticed was very different than from the start of the book because I noticed I was reading very slow and it took a long time to read the pages.

My goal was to finish this book by when our final test was due, and my plan to achieve this was everyday read a certain amount of pages to complete the book by when it was needed, while still having time to complete other projects. by doing this I was organized and was gauranteed to have all my reading time done by the due date.

When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I…

To re-focus, I find taking a 5 minute break to go to the washroom, check my phone, grab a snack and e.c.t is very helpful for me. after working for a while, I hit a period where I just completely lose focus and I find by doing this it really helps to gain my focus back. for example reading this book, I would read for a while then lose focus, to I’d take my break then get back into reading and have complete focus again.

My goal

My goal for going forward is to be organized when reading another book, and again set an amount of pages to read a day to finish my book on time. I did that while reading this book, and I found it to be very useful.
