I enjoyed doing labs the most because I like doing hands on learning since I learn more that way.
I didn’t really enjoy taking a lot of tests because it stresses me out a lot but I know they must be done.
I was really interested in space and I know we did a unit on it but I wish we took longer to cover more about space.
I believe I improved on my time management, whenever we got a homework assignment I would try my hardest to do it in class instead of taking it home to procrastinate about it.

if I where to do this course again I would do more practice before tests because it helps so much when it comes to taking the test/quiz.
I am taking physics next year because it correlates to the jobs that I am interested in.
• One strategy or activity that stimulates my imagination is listening to music while I work, it helps my mind calm down and become more creative and I am able to work faster and in better quality like in the family budgeting assignment shown above.
• Some skills I have developed to make my creative activities better are to call down and think before doing anything, I like to have a clear mind before working because it allows for more creative thoughts to enter my head.
Goal:
One goal I have for next year is to get on the honour role with distinction. This is my goal because this year I didn’t work very hard at the start of the year which caused my grades to go down, so I believe if I work hard all year I can get honour roll with distinction. I want to get onto honour roll with distinction because I know I am smart enough to, the challenge is that I have to actually do it and not yo procrastinate over everything.
I can tell when the group is working well together when I hear/see that they are working hard and studying for the test/project ahead. I also can see are group is working well by checking on them every so often to make sure they are still on task like i did during this French speaking project.
In discussions and conversations, I help to build and extend understanding by asking my partner questions if I don’t understand what to do. I did this during this project when there was a word or sentence I had trouble translating I just asked my partner and he helped me understand.
Goals:
My goal is to be a more independent worker in French class, because right now I rely on my friends/partners to help me but I want to be able to do more stuff on my own.
I need to remember that the owner of the product is the one benefitting because they are the ones making the money.
2. I am usually persuaded by a ethical persuasion strategy because whenever I see somebody famous with a new product that they like and say is good i also want it and want to see if its good.
3. Bandwagon, I chose bandwagon because nowadays lots op people like to follow trends, so if you can make a product that catches a big influencers attention there fans will also want it because they like the influencer.

An example of where I built upon someone else’s ideas is when I looked back on the examples about persuasion, I looked at what I could use and found some stuff that I put into my own style. I used the ideas that I thought where the best ways to help sell things.
One strategy or activity that stimulated my imagination on this project was when I watch tiktok at home and see a bunch of cool cars. When I got this project I already new that I wanted to do a car because I’ve always wanted to try and make and add and since I also like cars I wanted to put them together.
I can contribute to and work with criteria to improve my own work; evidence of that is when I didn’t understand what to do about the persuasion technique so I looked at the criteria and found the answer very quickly. whenever I miss or don’t know how to do something I always look at the criteria before going to ask the teacher.

It helped me site my sources for all the websites I gathered ideas from.

I made sure that when I went to write the information I found online that it was in my own words and that I include some of my own ideas into my writing.

Yes, I agree that violent protest are not good and that they gather un needed attention which causes the people to avoid the movement.

My grade 9 year has definitely been a learning curve, the work got harder, paying attention became a trouble, and trying to find time to study and do homework for the frequent tests almost every week became almost impossible with sports and training. These are all the big changes I found coming from middle school, they where definitely challenging but I was able to learn to use my time more wisely and ask for help or extra time when needed. There are definitely things I could still work on but I feel I have become more productive and more mature because of highschool. This year I also played on the jr boys volleyball team and it was a great time getting to go to different schools for different tournaments. I was also able to make new friends on the team who later became close friends throughout the rest of the year.
The reason I chose this website is because it was the most helpful website that i have used this year. during math in semester one my teacher introduced me to desmos and almost every class for the rest of the year i used it to help me with equations.

I chose this video because it was very fun spending class watching Jurassic park and focusing on things i never had thought about before. For example i had to find the protagonist and the antagonist in the story which was harder than i thought because the characters have more than one side to them.

The reason I chose this image is because it is the book that we are reading for English and doing fun assignments on. My favorite assignment so far was making our own creature using different animals because we got to design nd draw them for the rest of the class to see.

Being safe and positive on the internet is so important because it can and will help you later in life. You may wonder how and/or why so I will tell you. By posting something mean, hurtful or sexual can lead to have a bad digital footprint. You probably think you can just delete it without a trace but once you post something on the internet it will stay forever. Even though you think it’s gone others may have saved or taken a screenshot of it.
Some examples of negative or unsafe activities could be posting an inappropriate image or even just sending a negative comment. An example of posting something unsafe could be you and your friends doing inappropriate things like an inappropriate dance or sharing inappropriate photos to people you know or don’t know. An example of doing something negative could be posting a comment about being mean to someone, putting them down, or even being racist to them. These are all examples of things that you should not do on the internet so that you can keep your digital footprint safe.
Some steps that you can take to be positive and safe on the internet are. Don’t post anything that you wouldn’t want your family or relatives to see. Don’t comment and/or say negative things about or towards people you don’t know. Don’t let others talk down or make fun of you, go tell a trusted adult or teacher/counsellor if it’s somebody you know that goes to your school.
