I can take on roles and responsibilities in a group by communicating with other. I do my part in the lab. I demonstrated this by planning what I needed to do to complete this lab with my partner. I delegated things equally between me and my lab partner, and accomplished my designated tasks thoroughly and in an organized manner. I made sure to switch jobs with my lab partner, which allowing each of us to do different tasks
The hunger games advertisement project is a project where you had to make a no violence related item that would be used to win the Hunger games. When viewing an advertisement project you need to know who its directed for because you need to view it in there perspective. One form of persuasion I used was bandwagon. One advertising technique I used was making a hand drawing.
Core Competency Reflection
I show others that I truly value their contributions by giving them credits. I also make sure to admire there work. I know the group is working well together when I see improvement on my project from when it started to now. I know the group is working well together when I hear people commenting on are work. To celebrate an accomplishment such as getting proficient/extending on my advertisement project I congratulate my group members. I show that I value feedback from others in my group by taking there advice and editing my work.
When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I take a deep breath and have a sip of water and I just don’t think about anything else and just work.
I think artifacts connect to core competency very well and work well tougher. I learned a few skills through this activate and I also could work on a few of them. Such as not leaving my work tell the last moment or doing little by little instead of all of it right before its due
My goals align with my strengths and qualities because most of my goals all come with a strength because I want to push myself harder to the best I can do. I make decisions based on my values, for an example I want to make it to college to be a football player and I need a good education to make it to college so that’s why I set high standers for my academics. I have shown that I can set goals to help with my wellbeing such as me needing to get a better sleep. I will monitor my goals by checking my grade in socials frequently to make sure it is higher than a 80%. I advocate for myself by making sure I ask for help if needed.
THESE PANCAKES ARE THE BEST PANCAKES I’VE EVER HAD, AND I’VE HAD MANY PANCAKES IN MY LIFE. THESE PANCAKES ARE A FLOUR MIXTURE, QUICK BREAD, MUFFIN METHOD (PANCAKE METHOD) . THESE PANCAKES ARE VERY FLUFFY AND LIGHT AND ARE GREAT WITH THE BERRY SAUCE BECAUSE IT IS A SOFT WARM TOPPING. THE PRODUCT STANDARDS ARE FLUFFY, GOLDEN BROWN, THICK, LUMPY, SIMILAR IN SIZE AND SHAPE. THE PLACE OF ORIGIN IS ANCIENT GREECE.
The reason this is my favorite recipe is because it wasn’t a struggle to me it felt like I’ve made this 100 times. It was also very tasty and with the berry sauce it melted in your mouth. I also made this as my breakfast HomeLab.
Making and Sharing Reflections
For this Pancakes and Berry Sauce recipe I used a step-by-step plan to make this, and it came easy to me when I was cooking it. The step-by-step plan I followed was. Pancakes Step 1. Pre-heat oven to 170 degrees Fahrenheit, Step 2. 1000 ml liquid measure; whisk together dry ingredients, Step 3. 250 ml liquid measure; whisk egg, milk, and oil together, Step 4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients all at once. Combine with a whisk just to moisten (SOME LUMPS WILL REMAIN), Step 5. Pre-heat lightly greased frying pan with oil – on medium heat. Wait until pan is warm before you start cooking protein The pancake, Step 6. Pour 50 mL of batter for each pancake onto the frying pan. Cook 2 – 3 at a time, Step 7. Cook until bubbles on top begin to burst and sides are dry. DO NOT RUSH. Turn to cook the other side of Pancake until lightly browned. Turn only once, Step 8. Keep warm in oven while waiting for others to cook, Step 9. Plate pancakes. Add toppings to pancakes. Enjoy! Berry Sauce, Step 1. When the Pancakes are cooking you can start to cook the berry sauce. Add all ingredients to a pot, Step 2. Bring to a boil on medium-high, Step 3. Stir. Turn down to low-medium and cook until thickish
Core Competency
-If there is disagreement within the group, I find it helpful to make sure everyone calms down and we either discuss what we’re disagreeing on or talk to the teacher about it.
-While working in the kitchen, I help to build and extend understanding by making sure I communicate to my group members about what we’re working, and also help them if needed.
-I show others that I truly value their contributions by making sure they always have a part to talk and contribute to our group conversations/disagreements
-I show that I value feedback from others in my group by making sure they get to talk and always get to contribute their feedback.
The reason I invested all my money into stocks is because I am a risk taker and I don’t care if I lose money, compared to keeping it in a 3-year GIC and not touching the money. I also decided to add 10,000 every year into my investment to see if I could gain more money. Luckily, the stocks percent didn’t go down it stayed at 7.5%.
Collaboration and Contributes
I thought it was nice when we were working in groups. The people in my group were Me, J.P, N.S and O.B. I think I contributed to the group well and did my part. Most of the other people contributed to the group too. I think I gave lots of ideas to my group and helped them. I think I would rate my collaboration skills a 3 out of 4

Personal Competency Reflection. I know my Digital Footprint can have both positive and negative consequences, including stuff I posted when I was younger that is still on my digital footprint so I can adjust my actions to make sure that wont happen again. I now make digital ethical choices but second thinking on commenting on a post or asking to be untagged from a post if I was tagged, in order to make sure I don’t get caught up in anything bad. Some preferred strategies I use for maintaining a healthy, online balance presence is making sure I don’t share anything bad and don’t add/follow people I don’t know on social media.
Digital Footprint
Why is internet safety important? Internet safety is important because your Digital Footprint can always affect you on anything you do. If you are not safe on the internet, it can affect you on many things in life, especially for post secondary things such as getting a into a college and getting a job because now days jobs and colleges search up your name on the internet, and if you’ve done something bad on the internet that won’t reflect on you well. What are Unsafe activities? Clicking on e-mail attachment from unknown senders. Installing unauthorized applications. Giving out your password to people. Opening unknown websites. Steps to stay safe on the internet. Create strong and unique passwords so its hard for them to be hacked, also use different passwords because if you only use one and some figures it out, they can access everything of yours. Don’t share anything you don’t want to be seen, and its cool to post on your story once and awhile where you are but not every moment of your life.
For this project I used Word Art because I’ve already used Canva before so I decided to try something new, and I think it turned out really nice.
