Communication

Lab: Banana Muffins

This lab went well because the muffins tasted just right and we finished everything before the class ended. There weren’t many challenges because we just focused on cooking and reading the recipe. One challenge was putting the muffins in the oven because no one in our group has done it before. Eventually someone stepped up and tried their best to do it. It is important to have communication during a lab because everyone needs to know what their tasks are and what they are doing. Everyone also needs to be involved in some way to make it equal. Good communication doesn’t always mean lots of communication, it just means partners are checking in which each other, and asking for help or asking to help. If people don’t communicate the lab could go wrong because no one would know what they are doing. You could solve them by simply just introducing each other (if you don’t know each other) or reading the recipe together. We had good communication because we had a great finished product, everyone knew what they were doing, and the area was clean after.
