An Explanation of why internet safety and being positive is important
Internet safety is important because it helps protect our personal information and keeps us safe online. if you personal information is exposed it can lead to bad things such as identity theft, fraud and invasion of privacy.
Examples of unsafe and negative activities
Shopping on suspicious websites
Only using one passcode
Not using question authority
Being to social
Accessing personal information on public wifi
Not knowing all of your friends
A description of the steps everyone can take to be positive and stay safe
don’t open mail from strangers, if you get a phishing (trying to lure you) email with malware attached, you don’t have to download the attachment for it to do damage to your home network
Make sure your devices are up to date, If you don’t have your security software, web browsers, and devices set to update automatically, turn them on now they often include critical fixes for any security problems that may have been on in your programs or devices.
Use strong passwords, if you use strong passwords it is harder for hackers to access your information and use it for identity theft.

By doing online I make a positive difference to my peers.
I know that my digital footprint can have both positive and negative consequences, including getting fired and getting hired so I adjust my post to only have a positive outcome.
I make digital ethical choices such as considering commenting on others posts in order to be positive online,
I think my experiences as a digital citizen, such as using social media influenced my choice of working out, social media influencers made me want to improve my performance by posting different ways to improve myself
