How do schools in Japan compare to canadian schools? Is there anything they do in Japan, that you wish we did in centennial? In Japan everyone walks or takes the train then walks to school no matter how far their school is. But in Canadian schools it is normalized to get dropped off to school or take the bus to school. Japan also has multiple pairs of shoes for different locations of the school. But in Canadian schools everyone wear the same pair of shoes everywhere. Something i wish they did here that they do in Japan is the amount of school sports clubs there are so i can compete against new schools almost every time.

Do you think that student should have more responsibilities at school like cleaning duties or clubs/sports? I think all students should be required to be in a club/sport because it could get the school more recognition or awards for the club/sports.

How lucky are you in じゃんけん? would you be able to snag leftovers? I think im lucky enough to win in じゃんけん and i think i would be able to snag leftovers.

the difference between spiderman and supaidaman is how they get bit. in the western version peter parker goes to science lab for a field trip and gets bitten accidentally by the radioactive spider. In the Japanese version Takuya is the chosen one to get revenge for the spider and is given the power of the alien spider on the brink of death. Another difference between the two are the powers. in the western version spiderman can only climb things, websling, spidey senses and superhuman strength. Japanese Spiderman can summon marveller and leopardon and all the abilities that western Spiderman can do.

A particular part that made me laugh was when in every fight scene, the enemies would unnecessarily backflip and it would replay multiple times. Another thing that made me laugh was when he would do random poses when he would show up in front of an enemy.

Would i recommend this show to others? I think i would recommend this show to others if they have nothing to watch and want to get a laugh out of a show.

What do you think future generations will think about our media? I think our future generations will think our generation wasn’t the smartest because there was a lot trend that were dumb.

Which Yokai did I pick? Why?

I chose the Kuzuryu Yokai because I have always been interested in dinosaurs, dragons and mythical creatures since I was 7. So, this was the perfect Yokai to learn and discover about.

Name some characteristics and provide a background history/summary on your Yokai.

The kurzuryu is a 9 headed dragon that is described differently depending on where u are. The Kurzuryu was first found when a monk named Gakumon starting living in mount Togakushi. After chanting the lotus sutra, the Kuzuryu appeared before him. The dragon tells him that he was a steward of a nearby temple but turned into a dragon because he stole the donations to the temple. After listening to Gakumon’s recitations, he was enlightened and vowed to remain in the cave and protect the area. After Gakumon blocked the cave entrance with a boulder. After the dragon blessed the land with rain and water.

Do you think Japanese Yokai differ from Western monsters and mythical creatures? Explain.

I think that Japanese Yokai differ from Western monsters because Yokai have a wide range of attitude towards humans whether its friendly, helpful or mischievous. But with Western monsters, their behavior towards humans is commonly threats to humans. Another difference is Yokai comes from folklore, cultural and historical context. While Western monsters usually root from mythologies.

Do you believe in Yokai, monsters, ghosts, or mythical creatures? Why or why not?

I don’t believe in mythical creatures, but I believe that they roamed the earth at one point in time because of lots of unexplained traces that they could of have been on earth. There are also many stories and myths in my ethical background of mythical creatures existing a long time ago and even now.
