My Creation

This was a group project I made with another girl in my class. We have decided to make a mutation animal that has the body of a dog, wings of a hawk, Venom of a snake, camouflages like a chameleon and it grows limbs like a lizard. There’s two different types of this mutation animal but I’m not going to explain it.
Core Competency Reflection
I take on roles and responsibilities in a group; I do my share
I chose this one because I used my time wisely to do the drawing that you see above; I worked in a group with another girl and my part was to draw the mutation animal. It took awhile and I stayed up late, but I did my share and it turned out to be really fun.
I can develop a body of creative work over time.
I chose this one because if I was in Middle school, I wouldn’t spend as much time on this project as I did. But I did get a creative body throughout my middle school life and my first year of High school so far. This project really showed my art skills and I love to express myself through drawings. English has become my favourite subject and it gives me time to show my art.
I can show a sense of accomplishment and joy. I take pride in my work.
I chose this sentence because when I finally finished the drawing (3am) I was so happy that it turned out amazing. I was so proud of the wings of the dogs and also the teeth! I have a tips for the artists out there. Take breaks and stretch, maybe get some water too, it helps a lot.
I use strategies to help me find peace and I sustain a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
I chose this because, I really need to talk about it. Just how I said that I finished the drawing at 3am, I take breaks a lot. Sometimes taking 5 minute breaks is good enough for me. But, if I’m drawing on my iPad, I would need to take a longer break, like Ten or fifteen minutes. I don’t want to damage my eyes when I draw on my iPad so that’s why I made a habit to take breaks. I also keep myself hydrated all the time so I don’t dysfunction while drawing.
