Is violence justified during a revolution or protest? đ
A) How did the use of AI assist you in developing this project
It gave me ideas on how I can talk about why violence in revolutions and protests shouldn’t be justified. It also showed me helpful websites where Perplexity found the information. (I am not counting the points from Reddit…) Anyways!! AI helped me a lot with my information and other stuff.
B) How did you ensure that the work you created was still your own, rather than just a product of the AI
I know because when I was looking at the ideas for my side of the debate, I was looking at the key words in the sentence that AI made and I figured out what it meant and I put it in my own words and looked at the websites that I used and gave them the credit every time I took something from their site. I had to put it in my own word because it would be plagiarism.
C) Did you agree with the position you had to argue? Why or why not?
Yes, I did agree with the side I got. I believe that protests don’t always have to be violent. There’s always another option even if it doesn’t look like there’s a way. Every time I saw a protest or heard of one, I was always wondering if it was violent and if nobody was getting hurt.
Core Competency Reflection :/
When I need to work collaboratively with people I donât know well, I like to get to know their names and what they do. I like to get to know them better but sometimes I don’t like being around people when I’m meeting new people. But, if it was in a group project or a sports team, I would talk to them because I would have to in order to get my grades and to finish the project.
My strategies for collecting relevant information for specific tasks include doing research. I like to research my topic and see what comes up. Then I would take the information and put it into my own words. If I didn’t have my laptop or my phone to do research, I would use the sheets that my teacher gives to me and ask for help if I needed it.
