I was able to communicate to my audience with this project by using own experiences to explain each song I chose. I was able to convey and share my information by organizing each page to correspond to my song’s theme (for example, Don’t Stop Believing has an 80’s vibe to it, so I tried to use that). I would improve by making my project bigger, and adding more information to show why each song I’ve chosen means a lot to me.
I used creative thinking for my project by using each song as an example for each page. I was thinking of how each page would turn out in the end and made sure that it wasn’t too hard to read when I finished. I wanted my project to feel like me, and I wanted to make my project connect to some of the people reading it too. I used past experiences and tried to visualize what they looked like to try and create each page. This is where many of my fonts used came out of because I wanted the pages to feel like my experiences.
This whole project was based off of personal identity and positivity. While making this project, I made many connections and I also had to make many decisions. I had to choose which experiences I was going to base each song off of and I had to make sure it made sense. Something I would improve on for next time is expanding my project so that it wasn’t as repetitive. I felt as if lots of my songs related to each other and they were all connected to one experience that I chose.
Some short/ long term goals with my digital spaces include unfollowing lots of people who could possibly impact my experience and keeping my screen time limit down every day. My plan to achieve them is thinking about past experiences with these people and checking to see if I even know them. I can also check in with people I know to see if they know about anyone who I am following before I unfollow them. Another way I can achieve this is to go out and do new things while also doing the things I enjoy.
Some of the ways I work to build and maintain online relationships are playing games we all enjoy or making sure that I find a way to make conversations with them whenever I feel it is not lively. I have shown this before by sparking conversations about certain topics that I know we all have interest in and then we talk for like 30 minutes afterwards.
I think my experiences as a digital citizen, such as scrolling on social medias, talking to online friends, and being apart of conflicts influenced my choice of course/hobbies/ teams because I have found my hobbies by scrolling on social media and getting a video on my recommended that I enjoy or that I could see myself liking in the future. My online friends have also contributed to my hobbies because it was something they enjoyed as well.

This visual representation reflects the Core Competency: Personal/Social and how I grew in that competency in English 9 because of how I was able to keep my focus and be able to boost my mood whenever I feel down or anxious in the situation that I am in. The words shown represent my thoughts. I chose to symbolize my thoughts as a woman (or a person) because it represents me and how I can react and help myself to feel happy and calm after noticing I am feeling a different emotion.
AN EXAMPLE FROM ENGLISH 9:
My English 9 example is from my Creative Story Assignment, my partner and I created a picture book about a girl who is unable to show her emotions and is soon able to overcome her issue. This was apart of our short story unit, and we learnt about conflicts, climaxes, setting, and more! To read it, go to this link:
This infographic above shows that I can connect how I see myself through the Positive Personal and Cultural Identity. It shows this by giving information about myself that shows that I know myself and things about myself that may be different or similar to others that I may or may not know.
