19.30 – getting cake from save on food and going to Lafarge Lake Park for a walk and finishing the day

Analysis:

  1. How much did you end up spending on your special day?
  2. What percentage of total budget did you end up spending?
  3. What might you have done differently if you only had budged of $100?
  4. What might you have done differently if you had a budged of $500

Overall, on the special day with my mom I spend $295.78 dollars including tax, in percentage it will be approximately 98.6%. If my budget was $100, I would concentrate on things that my mom will truly love, like bowling or sweets, maybe I would buy less pricy flowers and would cut some of the gifts. If my budget was 500 dollars I would take my mom to some fancy restaurant, maybe get her some beautiful jewelry, also she really likes buying new shoes so I would take her to the store where she buys then often.

Personal/Social Core Competencies

Why did I choose this specific person? Why do you believe they deserve to be celebrated?

I choose my mom because she is the closest person I have in my life. I believe she should be celebrated because she was supporting me throughout all my life, supported me in every each in of my starts. She worked really hard to give me a great life and give me everything I need. She was the best person in my life I know no other one who would deserve it more than her.

Why did you choose to spend you budget the way you did? How did your values influence your decisions?

I tried to use my budget as responsible as possible, I wanted to make the money worth but made it that my mom would also love that. I used to spend my money responsible and to find the best deal. I don’t usually like to spend a lot of money on gifts because it makes me feel anxious, even if it theoretical, but i tried my best to do a list of something my mom would like because she deserved it.
