Curricular Reflection

I have a couple of career life goals, I want to have a good paid job, good vacation days and good work hours. For me to peruse a career in Home Repair I will have to do a few things. I need to get ok grades in English and math for me to get into a trade. I can also get into Home Repair with just a chigh school degree. For me to get better at this job I need to probably take Physics to get better for this job.

Core Competency Reflection

I can represent my learning and tell how it connects to my experiences – I am a confident speaker and not shy in front of a class, I am fine at making a presentation and presenting it in front of the class or explaining my experiences that I have done.

I can reflect on my thinking – I can show what I have done and what my thoughts are, I can present my thinking and thoughts in many ways. I can explain my thinking to people without being embarrassed or shy.

I can tell the difference between facts and opinions – I can easily respect peoples opinions and there beliefs without being rude. I like to acknowledge what the person is saying and understand where they are coming from and step into their shoes.

I can identify my strengths and identify my potential – I can tell people what I have been doing good and what I have been doing wrong. I can explain what I can do to improve what I can do to be better. I can tell people what I can do to be better.

set a time to study

Make a time to have a dedicated study block in your day, this makes it more likely for you to study.

test yourself

test yourself, doing this will make you more prepared and will let you know what you know and what you don’t.

distractions

take away all of your distractions, make sure the toy and other things that can make you distracted are away from you.

teach others

teaching others will help you because it can help you review and if you say something wrong the other person might correct you and you will be better.

remember

to remember things, review the things you learn when you get home and have a good nights sleep after studying.

My Learning of CPR

CPR Reflection

What was something you learned that you didn’t know or consider before? 

I did not consider that they have changed the rules of CPR and there are no breathing into the mouth.

What is a key takeaway from the Theory or Practical CPR unit? 

My take away is that CPR can help in many situations but may not revive the person every time.

How does this unit connect to the nutrition unit learned previously?  

This unit connected by explaining about how eating healthier and have a good diet can reduce the risk of heart disease

COMMUNICATION

You have to use communication when performing CPR to tell people around what to do. Explaining to 911 what has happened and if you revive the person comforting them.

THINKING

You have to think fast when things happen and you have to react fast. When somewhen is having a problem you will have to ask this person if they are alright, call 911 if needed and many other things.

PERSONAL

I can use this unit in my personal life if I need to learning this has really helped me. When your around older people or even your parents you do not know what might happen but this may help.

Persuasion and Advertisement Unit Reflection

Why is it important to remember who benefits from the advertisement when you view an advertisement?

I think it’s important to know who the money is going to is, so you know what your money is being used for.

Choose one form of persuasion and explain why it is effective in persuading you/an audience

What persuades me on an ad is emotional more than any other kind of ad tactic. I think why it persuades me more is because it attaches me to a product whether it makes me sad or happy.

Choose an advertising technique and explain why it is effective in selling a product.

Special offer is definitely one of the more effective advertising techniques, I think that its effective because it gives people the feeling that they are making money on things regardless of if they need it or not.

Creative Thinking – I used creative thinking to make the ad because I had to create something new. I used it to think of things to say and thins to put on it.

Critical and Reflective Thinking – I used critical thinking by putting a green background on the back because I had a red Gatorade and there opposite colours. i also used an orange arrow to symbolize more that its gatorade.

  1. One of the ways I ensure my group in clear on the common purpose is to ask they if they understand or explain something twice. If I did something I will ask my partner or partners if why I did is good to them and they agree with what I wrote
  2. If I notice people getting bored or talking about random things, that’s a sign that my group needs help and we ca get support by asking the people around us. We can also get help by asking the teacher what were supposed to do or re-read the instructions.
  3. I show other that I truly value their contributions by saying its good but by asking them to say more about what they are saying.

Reflection Questions – Is it justified to deny the rights of people in order to industrialize?

A) How did the use of AI assist you in developing this project 

AI helped search for questions quicker and gave me new ideas.

B) How did you ensure that the work you created was still your own, rather than just a product of the AI

most of the things i wrote were from my head and not from IA. 

C) Did you agree with the position you had to argue? Why or why not? 

a little because you can use a little force but not a lot without people fighting back

When I need to work collaboratively with people I don’t know well, I try and get to know the person better.
