Comparison to Canada

Between Argentina and Canada, there are surprisingly many similarities. Argentina and Canada are some of the largest countries in the world, with wide ranges of climates. As for celebrations, both Canada and Argentina celebrate their countries national day, it is often spent with family and loved ones. Both countries also have a diverse population with various cultures and nationalities throughout the country due to immigration. Something that makes the countries different is their sports preferences. Canadas main sport focus is hockey, while Argentina’s is soccer, but what they share in common is that their most popular sport, is not their national sport. Canadas national sport is lacrosse and Argentina’s is pato. Each country has very stunning natural landmarks. Canada is home to Banff National Park and Niagara Falls and Argentina has Iguazu Falls and The Andes mountain range. For music and art, Argentina is known for its tango dancing and Canada is more diverse, with aboriginal influence. Both countries have strong food traditions, with Canada known for Thanksgiving and Argentina for its asado. Beside these differences, both nations have diverse traditions and a wide range of cultures.

I chose this prompt because I can reflect on my learning by sharing the information I learned with others. A perfect example is this edublog. I am able to share what I learned in an organized and detailed way.

I understand that my values shape my choices and it reflects on my performance. If I value something less important than school work, or a project that I’m working on, it is likely that I will not be satisfied with my mark. That is because I put less important things before it.

I can analyze evidence to make judgements.

I chose this because in order to make an informative judgement, you need to analyze lots of different information. You are not allowed to copy work, so you must put the information that you learned to make your own project and judgements.

Goal Moving Forward

I consider more than one way to proceed an investigation.

I chose that as my goal moving forward because I think that it is important that I think outside of the box moving forward in my schooling. I want to work on that because it is always good to be a little different and think of different ways to approach situations. To achieve this goal, I will try and think of different possibilities and answers when doing projects.
