Internet safety is especially important in today’s society because of everything and everyone that’s out there, people who are looking to cyber bully you, and people who are always looking to find something bad about you so you always have to be safe and not leave a digital footprint. when you are online you should never post anything inappropriate or you should never attack or bully anyone. everything that you do, say, post anything. will be connected to you, when you press send and it’s online it’s there forever which is your footprint. As I said when you are on the internet you must be always cautious and safe, some things you can do to stay safe on any platform is you can stop, think, and process things you’re going to say or post another thing you can do is just stop yourself from saying anything you will regret and don’t post anything inappropriate that you wouldn’t want your grandma to see. stay safe!

Personal and social core competency

I know that my digital footprint can have both positive and negative consequences, including complenting others on posts, or maybe not saying nice things on others posts so I adjust my actions to be postive and to keep thoughts to myself.

Some of the ways I work to build and maintain online relationships are being suportive to others online and being someone to reach out to and talk to when they need, just over all be a good peer online.

By supporting others, being encouraging and being/motivating my friends and I to be safe online, I can make a positive difference to my peers.
