In this lab I learned how different variables can affect the velocity of a moving object, and how kinetic and potential energy can convert into things like thermal energy.

Core Competency

I used creative thinking during this lab when we needed to come up with our own variable to change. I changed the road our car was sliding down by putting my sweater on it. This demonstrates creative thinking by, thinking outside of the box with the limited materials we had available. I also showed calibration. I know this because my partner and I had organized and mature discussions by problem solving and creating ideas off of each others.
