Is violence justified during a revolution or protest?
in this project I used AI to help me narrow down my search of main points and questions I had to a couple good websites. to ensure the work was all mine I would look through the websites, pull out all the important information and put it onto a work document, from there I would start picking the information apart and righting it all in my own words. in this project I agreed with my point of view mainly because I believe that in any instance violence is not the way to solve our problems, i think there are other way to solve our issues without using force.
Core Competency Reflection
My strategies for collecting relevant information for specific tasks include scanning through websites that relate to my question and seeing if some of them have the same type of information on them, from there I pick out the important information and pull it apart then put it all in my own words adding my thought along with it.
When I need to work collaboratively with people I don’t know well, I try to get to know the person first, I believe that it’s hard to work well with someone you don’t know well and you struggle to communicate with. after were become comfortable with each other we both divide out the work then help each other on the way.
Budgeting for a Special Day
Description of your special day:
For my special day I am celebrating three friends of mine, Becky, Billy, and Chains. Our day will start off all meeting at Billy’s house and walking to Walmart to grab snacks and drinks. After we finish shopping at Walmart we would all go take the bus to Becky’s house and set up air mattresses snacks and drinks. Once we are done setting up we would all walk up to McDonald’s and Starbucks then go to a local park and hang out. After that I would call my dad to come get us and he would drive us over to the extreme air park, we would spend two hours there and bus back over to Becky’s house around 6:00 pm. once we get back to Becky’s house and order pizza, watch movies and sleepover.

Analysis:
In the day I ended up spending $292 which was 97.3% of my budget. if I only had $100 I would have to try to do activities that are free like taking a walk and cutting down a lot of the extra food costs. If I had a budget of $500 I don’t think I would do much differently, maybe I would spend money to go to an actual restaurant instead of ordering pizza and maybe we could go to an actual amusement park instead of an airpark.
Reflection:
Why did you choose this specific person? Why do you believe they deserve to be celebrated?
I chose these people because they have always been there for me. ever science the day I met them they have been nothing but funny and kind to me. I think they deserve this day because we have all had some stressful times recently and I think they need a well deserved break.
Why did you choose to spend your budget the way you did? What factors went into your decisions?
most of these things we have already done or want to do so I figured it would be fun to cram all of those things into one day of things we love and new expereances.

core competency reflection
i can understand and share information on a topic of interest in a clear, and organized way. i showed this by taking my chosen topic and looking into the culture of that country, then splitting it up into several sections and presenting them all in a short and easy to follow way.
i understand that my identity is made up of many interconnected elements. i find this in myself but also in the things around me. if i had never researched this country i would have never realized all the important parts of its culture and how they shaped it into the country it is today.
i advocate for myself. this was shown whenever there was something i needed, i wouldn’t try to go without it. i always let people know what i needed and when i needed it by so i could be more efficient and take charge in my project.
i recognize my emotions and use strategies to help them. this was a common thing i had ti do whenever i got stressed with finishing this project on time. i was able to stop, take a deep breath, and recollect myself so i could do everything to the best of my ability.
my goal for next time is to now wait till the last minuet to do things. i can do this by making sure i start on things the day there assigned so i know its something i need to get done, i can also set reminders for when the project is due so i avoid leaving it.
Reviewing Unit 1: Integers & Fractions
I’d say in unit one the thing that I was most comfortable doing had to have been adding and subtracting integers. this for me was easy due to the fact that it was verry similar to regular addition and subtraction.
the hardest part of unit one was just remembering to read over the question carefully to make sure I am doing everything correctly.
I learn material best when I am shown what to do once I fail.
I can prepare for my unit test by looking at all the things I did wrong and looking at my notes to find where I went wrong.
I have completed all my practice problems to the best of my ability.
“I persevere with challenging tasks and take ownership of my goals, learning and behavior.” to me this means that I try my best to do my work even if I don’t like or know it.
Core Competency Reflection
communication
in this “lab” we where tasked to use static electricity to move a pop can with the many given objects. i chose to partner up with two of my classmates i am good friends with, and we all brainstormed ideas on how to get our pop can to move. we all had to listen and share our ideas, talking amongst each other letting each person get a chance to talk and test our ideas. i think the thing we all learned from this activity was that instead of one person doing all the work and only having one idea, it is better to let everyone share what they think will work and communicate to find a way that all ways can fit together and work. i think we could try to grow on for next time is discussing before a method is tried so everybody knows what’s going on and can give input on the ideas. communication is a big part of living life, its how we keep people informed, receive information, and so much more and without this core competency skill it would be so much harder to live our lives. communication should be practiced and just know it takes time, and doing simple activities like these can improve those skills.

Plot, Character, Setting and Mood
Explain how you figured out what your Avatar would look like.
the way I was able to bring my avatar to life during this movie was, in the book I was given little hints here and there like her name, the color of her hair, what she wore, what her “vibe” was, and how her hair looked. form all the information I got from the book I was then able to make a rough estimate of what she looked like.
How did you choose the plot points?
for me I think the plot points where pretty easy to find as in the book it was quite obvious as to what was important and what was describing the other moments in her life.
Explain how you figured out the setting in your story. What information led you to choose the pictures you picked for your plot points?
the book was verry good at describing what the story setting was whenever it changed, it would tell you what it looked and felt like, how it smelled and what she saw in the places she went to.
Explain what the word mood means and how/why you picked the song that you picked?
for me the mood of the story was pretty clear from the title, girl in pieces. even from the first sentence of the book you could tell what you were getting into, and it stayed the same mood for the whole story. when picking the music, I wanted to find sad, almost depressing music to reflect how I felt reading the book.

In discussions and conversations, I help to build and extend understanding by asking questions so my understanding becomes clearer, and I become able to understand the ways other people’s ideas can be incorporated into one big idea.
A skill I have developed to make my creative activities better are the skill to listen. listening has got to be one of the most important skills in the world, with listening you are able to absorb other people’s ideas and create greatness just by hearing what others have to say.
I respectfully advocate for my needs by letting people know what my struggle is and suggesting a way to fix it, listening to what they say, and adjusting accordingly.
