Reflecting on My First Year

My Grade 9 Year

In my grade 9 year I learned a lot. The first day of school was different. It was a new environment with new people. Adjusting to a new school was difficult but over the course of a few months I adjusted. I was able to make new friends in my classes. I felt more comfortable having people I know around the school, old friends and new.

I chose Office 365 as my favourite website. The simplicity of all the applications makes it easy to get work done. Different applications for different tasks makes it easy to manage and file your work.

My Favourite Video

Over the course of my grade 9 year this has to be my favourite movie I’ve watched.

My Favourite Image

I chose this image because this demonstrates my learning skills. I am proud of the effort I put in and the time I used in class.

My Favourite Quote

“Life is like a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” – Albert Einstein.

I chose this quote because it applied to my first high school year. Even though I was in completely new circumstances and conditions I kept moving. I was able to maintain balance in life by overcoming obstacles and keep moving.

ADL – Collaboration and Solutions for Financial Literacy

Data and Solutions

Justification

The strength of a GIC is that it will consistently give you money when you invest. The weakness is that you will not be able to take out your money until the term ends.

Collaborations and Contributors

I found working with my group very helpful. We were able to talk about different areas and solutions to come up with the best answer.

I contributed and collaborated in my group. I helped by offering my feedback one questions. My group mates also helped in drawing out what was the most optimal way to solve the answer.

I used solutions and ideas from my group. This helped and made the assignment a lot easier.

I feel confident to collaborate and talk with my group.
