
I manage stress in my life by listening to music or taking a break from things that make my brain work hard like homework. Technology honestly doesn’t up my stress levels very much, only when I watch a sports game on tv. I can at times though become stressed when I am trying to figure something out on my computer and it doesn’t want to work. I’m pretty busy with sports most nights and don’t play video games at home which I know can cause people to get addicted.
I can use technology to support my wellbeing by listening to music. I can also use it to research topics that I’m interested in.
Core Competency Reflection
- I find it easy to be part of a group. I can do this because I can talk to people to reach a common goal. I’m pretty confident expressing my opinions about topics we’re working on.
- I am kind to others, and support others when they need it. I do this by helping others when they need help with a project. I’m kind to my friends by helping them out with things when they need help. If my friends have a problem they’re trying to sort out I can give them suggestions and be a good listener.
- I participate in classroom or group activities that improve the class, school, or community. I do this by raising my hand in class or volunteering for something like helping out with football by helping to set up the field with my coaches at lunch.
