What about the last concert/performance are you proud of? Why are you proud of this?

I am proud that I paid a lot of attention to dynamics and the intonation of my notes. In the past, I have gotten nervous and paid more attention to just playing the notes. I am proud of this because it is an improvement from my last performances and I feel as though it helped make the band sound better.

If you could change or fix one thing about my performance, what would it be? What would you improve?

If I could fix one thing about my performance I would try and not rush so much. I would improve by paying more attention to Mr. Byrd.

In a few sentences, please describe how this past year has gone for you in band? How have you improved on your instrument and would you like to continue to improve on?

This past year in band has gone very well. I I have improved a lot in alto sax this year. I played alto sax in band in grade 7 but did not play in grade 8. When I started playing again this September I only knew how to play notes in concert Bb, could not sight-read any pieces and I was relying on muscle memory from a year ago to try and play. I would like to continue to improve on playing very soft and legato and on the other hand learning to play loud and strong while staying in tune.
