Reflect on how you manage stress in your life and care for your wellbeing. In particular, think about technology and if it is a cause or coping mechanism of stress for you. How has technology impacted your stress levels this year? How can you use technology to support you in you in your wellbeing?

I manage stress in my life by listening to music or playing music myself. I listen to music that will boost my mood when I am feeling stressed. Sometimes I’ll play music on my guitar or bass to distract me from whatever is stressing me so I can come back to the situation more calm.

I also manage stress by drawing. I can draw to take my focus off of whatever is stressing me or I can assess how I am feeling using my art.
I think that personally technology is a coping mechanism more than it is a stressor. I am active on social media but I don’t view it as a negative influence on me personally. I can use social media to connect with friends and get inspired.
I would say that technology has impacted my stress levels in a positive way. I can listen to music, talk to friends, and watch entertaining content on my phone and I think that makes me feel better. Another form of technology that has helped in improving my life is things like cars. If I didn’t get driven or take the bus to school I would have to walk for 45 minutes to and from school everyday and I think that would make me stressed because I would lose time.
I can use technology to support myself by using resources to help me with homework and connect with my friends. I know when to limit my time online and I use my digital time to benenfit myself.
