I have shown my ability to creatively think within this assignment. First off I have Shown my ability to create a realistic storyline and translate it into a Spanish script to present to my peers. I have also shown my creative thinking by adding actions along with the script which added more realism to the presentation. This assignment also shows my collaboration abilities as I worked with my classmates to create this assignment. These are the reason why this assignment shows some of my core competencies.
The three careers that I have chosen are Aerospace Engineer, Supply chain analysis, and a lawyer. I chose these jobs because I find all of them interesting and have high education requirements which I feel I can meet and put my talents to good use. After I finished my research I now see that many jobs require lot’s of work and money to pass the courses needed to apply for these jobs. I also now understand why many people attend years of university just to achieve a certain career. After I had completed this assignment I know that out of the three I want to be an aerospace engineer as it is the job which uses the most creativity and allows me to create planes or equipment for them. The program I am most interested in is the Aerospace engineering course at University of Concordia. I am not yet ready to pursue this course because I do not yet meet the requirements nor do I have the money to pay for the tuition, also I am not yet out of high school. In order to be ready I think I will need to study the requirements for the university and meet as many as I can so I can start the course as soon as possible. I will also need to get a part time job to pay for the tuition and the schooling.
Core Competency Reflection
This is how I select images and words to create impact for different audiences, I look at the image and think to myself is this image interesting funny or does it help prove my point and if the answer is yes to any of these and it is appropriate for the presentation then I will add it to the presentation.
I seek, develop and weigh options as demonstrated by my ability to research and choose three different careers in this project. I had to do light research on several different careers and then pick three that had enough differences to offer a good insight to the variety of careers available now.
An example of something I have spent a lot of time learning about is aerospace engineering I learnt a lot about this subject as I had to give a presentation to my class. I spent several days gathering information on schools and programs I could do and the job in general.
My strategies for collecting relevant information for specific tasks include searching for a good reliable source reading it and putting the information in my own words.
One of the ways I ensure my group is clear on the common purpose is to Check in on what they have done and offer advice to them.
I want to be clear on the difference between simple “group work” and collaboration
I am working on this goal because I feel I need to work with my group more as I tend to not communicate as much as I should. I plan to accomplish this goal by talking to people who I don’t know more often to get better at group work and communication.
The four R,s are risk, recognize, react, resuscitate.
I believe it is important to to learn the four R,s because it is a good way to remember what you need to do in case of an emergency. In my life this will help me to help people if they have a heart attack and will allow me to save a life.
Core Competencies Reflection
Examples of where I communicated clearly and purposefully can be seen during the practical test for CPR when I clearly vocalized what I was doing as I preformed CPR.
One lesson that stimulated my thinking about the importance of CPR was when we had a guest speaker come in and tell us about his experiences, it really opened my eyes to what cardiac arrest actually looks like in the moment it happens.
When I need to boost my mood or re-focus in a classroom for PHE, I try to stay calm and focus on the task I need to accomplish. This allows me to focus on the task at hand and complete it to the best of my abilities.
This is how I select images and words to create impact for different audiences. First I look at what the feeling of the presentation and find images and text that will reflect that feeling in the best way. I showed that I did this through my choices of image I put into the power point.
If I notice that we have an incomplete part of the project , that’s a sign that my group needs help and we can get support by asking our teacher to help us and reestablish what we need to do. I showed this by getting my teacher to explain to my teammate what a monument was.
A goal I have for my self is to be able to communicate with my team better so I can understand what we have done and how we are doing on the project. I plane to improve on this by talking to different people more often so I can comfortably talk to other people.
This Equation is a function because there is no repetition in the domain, however it is not a one to one function because there is repetition in the range.
Range and Domain
In the domain X belongs to the set of all real numbers Because the graph goes on forever and never ends.
In the Range Y is less than or equal to 0, because the height of the graph never exceeds 0 while it goes on forever.
Domain means all the possible values of X, or all the numbers X could be
Range means all the possible Y values, or all the numbers that Y can be.
Self assessment
I used the same mathematical idea in multiple ways when I reexplained the definition of domain and Range.
I used mathematical vocabulary to explain what I meant by using the words Domain and Range.
I used formatting to show my understanding in a clear and presentable way by keeping my equation organized and easy to read
Some of my strengths and stretches are that I am shy and tend to avoid unwanted social interactions. One of my strengths is that I am smart and know how to manage my time well. I plane to address them this year by talking to more people and practicing my social skills.
Goal # 2
Some long term goals for my self include improving my grades over the course of the year, I plane to do this by studying and asking my parents for help when I need it.

Canadian landmarks, Canadas major landmark is the Rockey mountains or the Rockies.
Chilean landmarks, a major Chilean landmark is the Andes Mountain range.
Canadian holiday, one of Canada’s holidays is Canada day, celebrates the joining of Canadas three original provinces.
Chilean holiday, Chilean Independence Day, this is a day on which Chile celebrates its independence from Spain.
Canadian art is mostly indigenous art as well as landscaping. paintings.
Chilean art is mostly abstract art in the form of people and animals.
Would I go to Chile?
I would gladly go to Chile for a vacation or travel because it’s climate Varys greatly on where you are in the country’ also because Chile has a lot of great food and many great landmarks.

I will work towards identifying what is important to me and explain my values because I feel that it is something I need to work on to be a better person. To achieve this goal, I will spend mor time reflecting on myself.
During this year I have learnt many new things and been exposed to many new academical experiences. To start I have been taking the first real language course in my life, I have been enjoying it and have learnt how to have a simple conversation with a peer in my language Clase. This year I have been able to experience shop classes such as metal and wood, both of which I have enjoyed and will Rember from my first year. I have been exposed to a higher level of math and have been taught algebra and Poly numerals. In my English class I have Experienced the workings of a trial through a mock trial in which I was a prosecution Lawer, and I won the case due to being able to find the needed evidence for the task at hand. During my first year at Centennial, I have been exposed to new experiences and learnt many things.
My favorite educational website is Edu blogs. I feel that Edu blogs supported my learning by giving me a way to reflect on my thinking and see all of my past work. In doing this it has made me a better student and has allowed me to improve my education through self-reflection. That is why Edu blogs is my favorite educational website.

I chose the parodic table song because I thought that it is a fun way to learn the periodic table. I used the song to make learning the periodic table fun because it is really boring sometimes.

I have chosen this image as my favorite academic photo because I used it for one of my favorite projects. In the project I needed an image of something to advertise and promote using the strategy’s I learnt in Clase. I was able to make this photo into an add that you would probably see and think “that’s a scam.” Eather way it showed the basic requirements for the project such as different ways to advertise as well as how to format a photo into an advertisement. I was proud of this project and chose this photo because of it. This is a photo of the completed project.

They are scared of failure so the stop working hard, and they will end up being less successful, they chose fear. During this unit I found That in order to find the lowest common denominator when adding and subtracting fractions, using the tree method will help you to fix any mistakes and get the right answer. First, to start the Tree method I take the 3 fractions denominator’s, (12,4,8) and break them apart into their prime factors. (for twelve that is 3,2,2 for eight 2,2,2 and four 2,2) I will then rewrite it as shown below. as well as how to break the numbers down.
I will then choose the greatest option for each number. in this case it is the two cubed and the three I would then multiply them together to get the lowest common multiple of twelve, eight, and four, which is twenty-four.
I was surprised by on the test
on the test for this unit one thing that surprised me was that there were multiple choice questions on a math test. The other was that the questions were easier than I thought they would be.
