First of all, this was a Baby Lab, which was one of the lab’s we completed and worked on during the unit of Biology, in Science 10 Accelerated.
Nevermore, I demonstrated collaboration in this Baby Lab, in many way’s. The first way I have demonstrated a decent core competency of collaboration, is by thoroughly and properly working alongside my partner within this specific lab. Both me and my partner, communicated properly, both sharing our personal thought’s on what we should name the baby, talking specifically about what were supposed to be doing in this lab, helping each other along the way, and much more.
Furthermore, another way I have displayed decent collaboration skill’s during this lab, is by making sure that both me and my partner were on the same page, instead of just rushing ahead and not checking in with him. For example, when we were rolling the dice, I noticed that I was far ahead of him, and that he didn’t quite get any of the specific answer’s I had rolled for each trait. So, instead of waiting for him to ask me, or in general, just not communicating at all, I decided too show him the answer’s I got, so mu partner can write them down, instead of my partner having to reroll everything for the sake of me not communicating.
Lastly, one of my final examples on how I demonstrated the core competency collaboration, is by constantly communicating with my partner throughout this Baby Lab. We collaborated and communicated with our answer’s, and more, but specifically, made sure to check in on if we were both on the same page when we were almost done rolling the dice. Indeed, their were many misunderstandings, as both me and my partner wrote different name’s for the baby, and had gotten many different trait answer’s, but in the end, we both decided to properly fix what was wrong with what we had done, making sure we both had the same answer’s and correct baby name in the end.
Overall, I think that I had decent collaboration skill’s in the lab, as I was able to properly and successfully communicate and collaborate with my partner, making sure that everything was going right, without just being silent and not saying anything at all.
Is Violence Justified During a Revolution or Protest?
A) How Did The Use of AI Assist You in Developing This Project.
The use of AI, helped to assist me in this project, by in general, really just helping me. For explanation, the use and tool of AI really helped me when I was looking for specific event’s to connect to my prompt’s, safe and great website’s that would be easy to both cite and read, supporting point’s and idea’s for each reason I gave, and much more. I could say that, AI did make a huge influence on this project, as it saved me a lot of time on researching, as well as just enhancing and making my project have a better quality in the end.
In conclusion, I’d say that AI has influenced the quality of my project, and in general, just naturally helped everything about this Social’s and ADL project seem more together. Using AI as a tool in this way, is a great way to collect trust resources, and expand on wider ideas that you might have not thought of.
B) How Did you Ensure That The Work you Created was Still Your Own, Rather Than Just a Product of AI.
I would say that even when I asked the AI tool for idea’s, or such ways to set up or start my sentence, I still added and adjusted it to fit my work ethics. For example, rather than just asking AI to write a paragraph for me about a certain specific topic, I would ask this AI tool to offer me multiple resource’s, like website’s, or idea’s given by the AI tool so I could properly form and write my own paragraph myself.
In my opinion, I would say that I used the AI tool in a way to help me, and expand on my ideas and natural abilities, whereas rather than just using AI as a cheat code through this project, and not properly adding in and combining my own work ethics.
C) Did You Agree With The Position You Had to Argue? Why or Why not?
For me, I would agree with the position and side I was arguing for. Likewise, I was arguing for the non-violence side, or in different term’s, negative side. In my opinion, the reason why I would agree with this position and side of the argument, is because, of course, violence might have to be the answer to many occasion’s and situation’s at certain time’s, but causing and choosing to use violence as a tool in activities such as protest’s, or revolution’s, without even having the proper right or need of creating the idea of violence in these situation’s, just doesn’t sit right with me. Rather than resorting too violence during these activities, peaceful protest’s or revolution’s where no violence is needed is quite better, as always resorting to violence can lead too many innocent lives’ being hurt or at risk, and at the cost of something more than just a “Protest” Happening.
So yes, to wrap it up, I do agree with my side and position of the argument, as I think it quite frankly make’s sense and does have more supporting evidence as to why we shouldn’t resort to violence without the actual need of it.
When I need to work collaboratively with people I don’t know well, I…
When I have to work collaboratively with people, or peer’s I frankly don’t really know well, I will always try and start a conversation with them, possibly getting to know this fellow human being better. This is so, in general, I know more about this person, and I can get to know their work habit’s and personality, which would help me out with adjusting my work ethic’s and habit’s to slightly match there’s.
For example, to be more clear, if I’m collaborating with someone who isn’t so talkative, I would take the initiative to be more talkative and friendly towards them, as I’ll more than likely make them feel a bit more comfortable, rather than just being shy ad sitting their, getting no work done too. In contrast, if I was speaking and collaborating with someone who was much more extroverted and talkative, I would take a step back and be more quite and observing, as I would give them a proper chance to explain their personal ideas and would let them properly speak without me interrupting or being quite loud too.
So, in conclusion, when I need to work collaboratively with other’s I don’t know well, I will slowly adjust myself to their own work ethic’s and personality, in order to make sure both me and my peer or person is comfortable and able to collaborate effectively.
One of the ways I ensure my group is clear on the common purpose is to…
For me, one of the way’s I would ensure my group is properly clear on the common purpose, is by of course, always checking in with my group, and clearly collaborating with each individual well. Making sure that each specific group member is doing their fair share of the project and work, as well as checking in if that certain group member is doing it correctly and wisely, is what would in general, help with making sure each group member properly knows what they are doing, including the entire group as a general knowing the main motive and purpose.
This is one of the way’s I always make sure that me and my group are clear on the common purpose. If I didn’t do this, then I would assume than depending on the group, some group member’s may end up not doing any work at all, and not properly communicating with the group as a whole to know what their main motive and focus is supposed to be. Collaborating and communicating in general with your group is a huge part to making sure the group as a whole knows the common purpose of what we are supposed to do.
To wrap it up, this is one of my way’s I would make sure the entire group knows the main purpose, including that each and every group member properly knows their individual focus, and the specific steps to moving forward in whatever current project doing or needed.
This year, I learned and overcame many challenge’s, academically and socially. Academically, I’ve learned so much more material, than I ever knew about specific subject’s like Biology, or Chemistry, which fascinates me a lot. Socially, I made and interacted with many new people within this school. Furthermore, I am most proud of having at least a certain decent grade within most of my classes, as I thought my grade would drastically drop in high school. High school has taught me many new thing’s, that I thought I would’ve never known or learned in middle school. In conclusion, for me, high school has been a interesting experience so far, and I hope I make more loving memories for the rest of my grade 9 year, and year’s to come.
A website, that I started to use a lot when I had Math in first semester, was Math Way. I chose Math Way, because it helped me solved difficult math problem’s, by showing very clearly, setup by step explanations. Furthermore, this website supported my learning by allowing me to check my answer’s, and understand the different problem solving methods I could learn and use for each specific unit within Math that I learned this year.

“A Useful Educational Video”
For me, I chose this video because it explains algebra in a simple, yet engaging way, making it easier to understand the basic concept’s of algebra. The step by step explanations, and clear visual’s helped me grasp the important ideas that were sometimes significantly confusing in class. This video made learning algebra more approachable for me, and gave me a solid foundation for more advanced Math topic’s too cover. Nevermore, since I completely forgot what I covered or learned about in grade 8 about algebra, this video really helped to get my memory flowing back about this specific Math topic.

“A Useful Educational Image”
I decided to choose this image, because it visually represents an important scientific process, making it easier to understand how matter cycle’s through the environment. Seeing the different stages in a clear diagram, helped me connect concepts I learned within Science class, like how carbon move’s through atmosphere, plants, animals, and even soil. This image made the topic more engaging and helped reinforce my understanding, of one of the many ecological system’s I have learned this school year.

“A Useful Educational Quote”
“The only way to do great work is to love what you do.” – Steve Jobs
I chose this quote, because it resonates with how I approach my studies, and personal growth. This year, I’ve learned that when I genuinely try to enjoy the process of learning and solving problem’s, I do better and feel more motivated, rather than being negative about the material I’m currently learning. It reminds me that passion, and dedication make even the toughest assignment’s or specific courses more rewarding.

A) How do you feel you progressed in this course throughout the semester? Some thing’s to discuss include areas of growth or improvement, areas that still need work next year, or specific experiences or lessons that stood out for you?
I feel that I’ve progressed well throughout this semester. At the start of this semester, I wasn’t the best at Math, and I usually got Developing. But as I started to listen closely, study more, and read question’s more carefully, I had mostly gotten Proficient.
I think I’ll have to improve my word problem taling skill’s for grade 10, as well as graphing equations. Overall, I feel good about how much I’ve progressed throughout this semester.
B) What personal goal’s did you set for youraelf prior to this course? Did you meet or exceed these goal’s? Did you learn any strategies to help you self-regulate your homework/study habits? Are there any examples of you self-advocating for yourself when you tace a challenging situation or lessons?
My personal goal’s, was to exceed atleast an Proficient this semester. I feel like I did meet this goal, as most of my tests were marked Proficient. Whenever I faced a challenging situation, or lesson, I asked the teacher or pre-tutor for help, whiched incredibly helped me.
C) What is one thing you felt you have improved on this senester? (Does not yave to he content based)How can you further use this strength inn your next educational endeavour?
One thing I have improved this semester, is algebra and polynomial’s. I can further use this strength, during Math 10. Since Math 10 is widely focused on algebra and polynomial’s, this will help me a lot.
D) Are there any other comments on your experience in this course?
I think that Math teacher Mr. Sun is a really good teacher, and help you throughly understand each specific Math topic properly. Mr. Sun is very good teacher too has, it would he cool to be in Mr. Sun class again for Math in Math 10 and Math 11 and Math 12 PUH-lease!!!!!!!!!!
How does the story of Spiderman (Western) differ from Supaidaman (Japanese)?
The Western and Japanese version’s of Spiderman differ significantly, in their origins, themes, reflecting the cultures that created them. An example from one of the many Western Spiderman movies, could be that Peter Parker, gains his powers from a radioactive spider bite, emphasizing themes of responsibility and personal growth, as he navigates life as a teenager in NYC. Whereas, we see that in Japanese Supaidaman, Takuya Yamashiro, acquires his abilities through alien technology, introducing more of a science fiction storyline, involving a giant robot named Leo pardon and the battle against the Iron Cross Army.
While the Western version blends humor, drama, and somewhat a sense of realism, the Japanese adaption leans into a darker tone of exaggerated battles. These differences highlight how Spiderman’s story has been adapted to generally suit the values and entertainment styles of different cultures.
Were there moments that made you laugh, cry, or feel particularly invested? Explain.
I did not feel invested, nor did I laugh or cry while watching this version of Spiderman. One reason for this, is that the story and characters felt too over the top and unrealistic for my taste. The giant robot, Leo pardon, and the constant battles with strange looking aliens made it hard to take the plot seriously or connect emotionaly with the characters. The lack of depth in the storyline and character development did not give me much reason to care about what was happening.
As a result, it was difficult for me to feel any strong kind of connections or emotions while watching this Japanese adaption of Spiderman.
Would you recommend this show to others? Why or why not?
I wouldn’t recommend this show because it feels outdated and too focused on flashy action scenes. The special effects an costumes are clearly from an older era, which can make the show feel less appealing to more recent generations. The villains an battles, while creative, often come across as quite repetitive and predictable, which takes away from the excitement. While I wouldn’t recommend it to Gen Alpha or Gen Z, older generation’s may be more interested, which would lead me to recommend it to them.
Overall, it doesn’t offer the kind of depth or originality that many people expect in a superhero story today. (Excluding older generations)
What do you think future generations will think about our media?
Future generations, might look at our media as a reflection of the values, technology, and issues of our time. they could see it as both creative and flawed, depending on the content. on one hand, they might admire the way people used advanced technology, like CGI and streaming planforms like Twitch, to create immersive stories and share diverse perspectives. On the other hand, they might criticize how much our media focuses on trends, franchises, and a shallow entertainment instead of addressing deeper topics or creating truly original stuff. Additionally, they may find some aspects, like social media influencers or meme cultures, either strange and outdated, or funny, depending on their view of it.
Overall, future generations might view our media as a mix of hilarious ideas, and a past look on the media, showing how the media used to be before evolving to whatever it will in the future.
Explain how this assignment reflects both the strengths and the weaknesses in your work. For example, what in this poem is good that you will continue to make sure you do, and then what about this poem is something you might change to improve your writing or presentation.
This assignment reflects both the strengths and weaknesses in my work. One strength is the vivid imagery in my poem, like “Snowflakes fall in silent grace” and “Icicles hang like frozen glass,” which creates a clear, peaceful picture of Winter. Additionally, I maintained a calm and reflective tone throughout my poem, which is something I’ll continue to focus on in future writing. However, a weakness was my presentation, I only read half of the poem, and my timing was to short, falling below the two minute requirement. This made it difficult for my peer’s to fully appreciate my poem. To improve, I need to practice my delivery ahead of time, and ensure I finish the entire reading, even if I feel nervous.
In conclusion, while my writing skill’s are decently okay, I’ll need to work on presenting my work efficiently, and getting over the fear of stage fright.
Think generally about you and your work: describe what completing assignments is like for you? Easy? Hard? Why is it easy or hard? Or what specific parts are easy or hard? Or what kinds of assignments/work is easier or more enjoyable for you than others? What things outside of a formal school situation do you do that help you succeed in English?
First of all, completing assignment’s for me depends on the specific type of assignment I’m doing. Most of the assignment’s I have completed in English 9 have been fairly easy, excluding the group activities or presentation assignment. Writing task’s, like essays or poems, are easier for me, because I can work at my own pace. However, group activities or presentations are harder because they require speaking in front of others, which make’s me feel tense and angry.
Outside of school, reading books, watching movies, and even casual writing, like texting, help me improve my English skills. These activities build my creativity and vocabulary, making writing assignment’s in general, feel more manageable.
Which advertising technique did you choose and how did you use that technique to create your poster?
The advertising technique’s I have chosen, is both the bandwagon and special offer technique! When creating my ad, I decided to use bandwagon technique, by writing following word you may see on the top. In which, states “Don’t miss out, join in on the fun!” I use this technique, because more than often, I see many ad that include written example, like “Don’t be the only one! Get the new Subway footlong cookie now!” Or, well, something along the lines of that.
Now, for how I incorporated special offer technique into my ad, is, as you can see, the written text which states “Epic sale, up to 50% off!” So, how this text showed I used special offer technique, is by stating the Christmas ornament is up to 50% off, claiming it to be an epic sale too! Instead of adding in the price of the Christmas ornament, I wrote a tiny text at bottom stating you could order one at [Insert phone number] and [Insert website] so, the audience doesn’t exactly know the original price, whereas if I wrote the original price straight on the ad, it would have a different effect.
Explain how and why you chose the colors, words, background, etc. that you used to make your advertisement.
Well, first of all, when using the AI, it generated me many image, but I liked this one! So, the golden & red were already part of my ad. Now, I establish to make the main text a variation of red & green! So, mostly because these color’s are really for the festive season, but, another reason would be that generally, using bold color like red, green, pink, and more… would rather capture the attention of the audience. If I use a softer color like gray, it would withdraw the attention I would get for my ad.
Okay, so, for background, I feel like using a background with multiple item’s of the product you are advertising is quite distracting. Instead, try and use a picture where their is only one object, leaving all the focus on that one object! If so, including a blurry background, for the viewer’s to really focus on the main object, is quite beneficial too. Which, is basically what I decided to do with the background here.
What do you think others who aren’t in your class should know about advertising?
I think, that many of my peer’s should understand and recognize when advertiser are manipulating you or not! So, when you see an advertisement, stating something like “Don’t be a loser! Get one if your cool!” You should know that this advertisement is trying to manipulate you to apparently fit in, creating you to buy it. If other student know this, this will be beneficial for them, because they’ll be aware of how each ad trying to use specific strategy technique to convince you!

Core Competency Reflection
This is how I selected images and words to create impact for my planned audience:
Well, when you create advertisement, you should have the main focus, on the product you are selling, and not to mention, the sale! So, when creating ad, you want to have your product as the center of attention. Instead of putting the product on the side of your advertisement, rather put it in the middle, and make sure it’s shown huge, so people can actually attract their attention to it!
And, try to write sale & key word big, so the audience can really see it! If you write it small, or to many word, that will just draw attention away from your ad, as well as the writing being to small. Displaying both on advertisement huge will benefit the advertiser, and driving viewers to look at the ad.
An example of where I built upon someone else’s ideas is…
Well, foremost, the advertising techniques! Though, I decided to build upon this, and slightly in my opinion, improve it. Then, I would look at other advertisement as an main example of how a ad should generally look like, and then build off that! Like, rather than adding a few huge snowflakes on your advertisement at the few corners, add smaller size snowflake’s all around your ad!
Too add on, I want to use multiple technique for my ad, rather than using just one advertising technique shown. Since, I see most of my peer’s decide to use only one advertise technique for their ad, I use two, since I feel like a combination of two specific advertising technique’s could really go good together!
During the project, I would say there are many time I did build off of someone idea, rather that was the most bland idea ever, or a tiny detail I enjoyed seeing that I thought I could add some creativity too.
First of all, school’s in Japan and Canada differ in several key areas. Including such as academic structure, culture, and school life. Japanese schools are known for their strict discipline, and academic difficulty. If we take a look at the daily life of a Japanese student, we can conclude that students are expected to wear uniforms and follow a set of strict behavioral rules daily, as well as maintaining respect for their educators.
In addition, Canadian schools tend to offer more flexibility, mainly speaking, of the relaxed system Canadian schools have, compared to Japanese schools. Usually, Canadian schools do not require the need of a uniform, specific backpack, nor a harsh dress code.
Furthermore, while both systems offer a well-rounded education, we can tell from the few things noted, that Japanese schools often prioritize preparation for entrance exams to universities, whereas Canadian schools tend too categorize and cater specific interests depending on the student. In conclusion, each system has it’s own values and differences, prioritizing different topics, and so on.
Is there anything they do in Japan, that you wish we did at Centennial?
Initially, I think a few potential thing’s that Japanese schools do, would be beneficial if Centennial had done too. Mainly talking, dress codes would play a better part within the Centennial school. As Japanese school’s require, your aren’t allowed to wear specific accessories, products, and more. If Centennial had a similar foundation to this, as in not wearing revealing clothes, I honestly think this would potentially improve the image of the school significantly.
Nevermore, another thing that Japanese school’s do, which I think Canadian school’s could do, would be cleaning around the room before class ends. I’ve noticed that many peers are quite unorganized, so if adding the rule of potentially cleaning the entire room instead of a janitor doing it, would help teach unorganized peers to be better organized.
Do you think that students should have more responsibilities at school like cleaning duty or for clubs/sports? Why?
Assumably, yes. If student’s at Canadian school’s had more responsibilities, this would influence the productivity of most peers. I feel like many student’s at school often don’t hand assignments in, neither attend class. Adding more responsibilities onto students, like managing a club, or cleaning after a class would help towards everyone in general, as well as teaching students topics like staying organized, managing a club, or learning a new sport.
How lucky are you in じゃんけん?Would you be able to snag leftovers?
If our school were to provide lunch for us, I feel like I wouldn’t be very lucky with じゃんけん! Hence the luck based game to snag the leftovers, I would highly likely not be able to sag the leftovers, as I’m not that lucky to begin with.
If the game was something else (An example being a race, or who could stand on one foot the longest) I’d assumably have a higher chance of winning じゃんけん.
I picked to write about the yokai, that is called “Kappa.”
Firstly, I decided I would like to write about the kappa, because I think their cartoon versions are very cute, and their backstory plus ability is quite interesting.
In addition, I would like to add that I remember one of my favourite Pokemon when I was small was named “Kappa.” I used to play Pokemon, and I would quite always use Kappa on my team. The Pokemon in my opinion was cute, and I liked the abilities and attacks it had with it. When thinking about the yokai kappa, I remembered the Pokemon, named “Kappa,” Which is mostly why I wanted to write about the yokai kappa.
Name some characteristics and provide a background history/summary on your Yokai.
The yokai, otherwise named “Kappa” Is a yokai, in which inhabit the rivers and water flows of Japan. Kappa’s are generally clumsy on land, and usually spend most of their time within the depths of the rivers.
Furthermore, kappa despise animals, specifically cows and horses. If a kappa would ever spot a cow or horse from afar, the kappa would highly likely attack the horse or cow.
If someone ever passes by a kappa while swimming within a river, the kappa might decide to kill them. The kappa’s preferred way of killing their victims is by either drown their victims underneath the river, or biting them multiple times underwater, until their victim has no signal of either breathing, nor struggling to attack back anymore.
If a kappa ever spots you within near reach in a river, you would ave no chances of surviving the attack. But, if you were, per se, on land and the kappa spotted you, you can try your chances and trick a kappa into bowing for you, right after you bow for them. This would cause the water to spill out of the kappa’s water dish, and that would result in the kappa obeying and worshipping you.
Nevermore, for characteristics, the kappa can usually be the variant of the colours green, blue, and red. Kappa’s are webbed, have a beak, and a water dish in top of them. Also, kappa’s are the size of a child, kappa’s would appear to look innocent, weak, and tiny. But in reality, kappa’s are quite stronger, assumably stronger than the average man. If you see a kappa drawn in a cartoonish way, they look quite cute. But realistically, kappa’s look very… interesting.

Do you think Japanese Yokai differ from Western monsters and mythical creatures? Explain.
In my opinion, I would say yes.
Although Japanese Yokai have some traits that are quite similar to Western monsters and mythical creatures, Japanese Yokai still have many traits that Western monsters and mythical creatures don’t
Japanese Yokai sometimes have very random backstories, and some don’t make sense either. Depending on the yokai, some have questionable features, which don’t really make sense in my opinion. The backstories that some yokai have are valid, but most yokai have weird backstories, with inappropriate themes added into them/
Compared to Western monsters and mythical creatures, most of these have more understandable meanings behind them, and the drawings plus interoperation make generally make more sense.
An example could be a dragon. Dragon’s have a decent backstory, and each specific tribe- Or trait that was made up for them is unique and draws the reader or person in. Whereas, reading about some yokai can be quite questionable and wouldn’t be the best sight to read nor look at.
___________________________________________
Do you believe in Yokai, monsters, ghosts, or mythical creatures? Why or why not?
I wouldn’t particularly say I believe in any of these except ghosts.
For most of the entities mentioned, the only reason I don’t believe they exist- Is because whenever a monster, creature, or entity is discovered, they immediately become an animal.
We can take the example of krakens. They were considered a monster- Something that would drag your ship down, if ever encountered by it. But in reality, it was just an octopus, as most people now know it as. The kraken was a huge myth, but before so, was something that many people believed for years.
For such things as yokai, it just doesn’t sound realistic enough to be real. Some concepts of yokai make zero sense on why they would be real, which is why I don’t believe that there are yokai.
Moreover, I believe ghosts because, most do have a realistic backstory. And ghosts do just seem more believable compared to a topic such as mythical creatures- Or yokai.

Personal/Social Competency Reflection
PromptOne
This picture demonstration/reflection represents one of the following promote “Some of my preferred strategies for maintaining a healthy, balanced online presence include…”
Firstly, my preferred strategies for maintaing a healthy balanced online presence would be, when your online, you should never spread any information about yourself to strangers. Don’t spread even the tiniest bit of information to anyone. In this day and age, there are many people who do disgusting acts, catfishing as someone who they aren’t. Let’s take the case of “Amanda Todd” For example. One small chat with a stranger ended up way worse than predicted. This alone shows an example that you shouldn’t talk to strangers online, let alone meet- If you ever do encounter yourself chatting with a stranger, don’t share any personal information that could potentially lead you to danger.
Next, be kind to others, don’t start controversial arguments, and don’t troll. All these play a factor into your digital footprint. Starting unnecessary disagreements on social media won’t help you- Instead, do something productive, like taking a walk, or a short nap. Try and not get involved in acts that could severely effect your digital footprint, short or long term.
In general, try and stay away from situations that could lead you to danger, and being careful about the way you act on social media. Remember, once you post a message, or say something on social media, it will be there forever- Part of your digital footprint, and possibly putting you at risk of blackmail, etc.
Nevermore, these are my preferred strategies and ways I would use to contain a healthy balanced prescence. In short form, don’t spread information about yourself, don’t troll, be kind to others, and never start an argument for no reason, in order to maintain a healthy balanced prescence.
Prompt
The second prompt I will be answering, is “By doing… online, I make a positive difference to my peers.”
Well, let’s start off by in general, being kind to others, especially peers.
Being kind to my peers would help make a psotivie difference to them, which would also help me with them highly likely being kind back to me. If I were to be rude to them, they would view me in a different way and not treat me nice. They would probably instesd treat me the way I would’ve treated them. By demonstrating this behaviour, I could do such things as leaving nice comments under my peers post, helping out a peer if they ever ask for helo within the Team’s chat, maybe messaging them “Hi!” Or starting a conversation, and more.
Futhermore, I can be kind and never trashtalk any of my peers online. Many people message eachother online and make fun of others that they know, which could potenially be leading to getting leaked and the person being trashtalked feeling saddened. Never saying or doing anything disrespectful to your peers online is crucial. Once you send something, it can always be leaked, especially with it being on the internet forever.
PromptThree
The last prompt I chose too answer, is “Some short/ long term goals with my digital spaces (ex. Your Edublog) include… and my plan to achieve them is… (include where you might seek help from others)”
Firstly, some of my short/long term goals are…
Well, for short term, it would be trying to get a good grade mark on all my Edublog’s! I want to try my hardest to improve on my skills while writing and completing these ADL assignments, or other courses such as my Science or Japanese Edublogs.
For long term goals, I want to try to get atleast Proficient on my report cards (Online report card.) This is the main goal I have, or basically Proficient > B is what I’m aiming for, Extending > A if I’m ever able to in certain courses. Getting a good grade on most of my courses is what I would want as a long term goal, more specifically online assinments such as on Teams, or writi by Word Docs. I’m not the best at online assignments compared too on oaper assignments, which is why I chose it as a long term goal. I am also not the best at technology, so it’s quite difficult to complete some assignments from time to time that are online.
Next, my plan to achieve my short/long term goals is…
For short term goals, I’ll try and complete 1/3 thirds of the Edublog assignment on the day when it’s assigned, then completing a bit everyday until the due date, not doing it days later for no reason. I usually don’t do it for days because I have no clue or have much other homework too complete. So, for this, I would rather then email the teacher who is in charge of it, asking questions if needed, so I know exactly what too do for each Edublog assignment!
In addition, for long term goals, I’ll try and have a study scedule for myself. I already have one after school, but I never assign specific periods or breaks So, I think I would try and set specific time periods I would study each Team assignment I get, then taking breaks in between so I could have a brain break to recharge myself, rather than doing everything in one go and not getting a good mark.

What strategies can youth use to maintain a positive digital foot-print online and why is it important
What strategies youth can use to maintain a positive digital foot-print, is firstly never handing on personal information to untrusted sites, strangers, or viruses. Giving out personal information, especially information that no one else should know- Can lead you right into a trap. People could be able to blackmail you, or sell your information, which would contribute to your digital foot-print.
Always keep yourself out of dangerous situations. An example is always use a strong password, make sure you turn on 2FA, proof check the site so you know it isn’t a virus, etc. Doing all of this is very crucial, any of these can lead too getting hacked, possibly getting your account stolen, or even someone having access to your personal information. This is just basic criteria of what you should normally do on a daily basis, to make sure you are safe from everyone, and that you and your information is 99 percent safe and locked away from everyone else.
Also, be careful what you post online or say. This could have a huge impact on you and your digital foot-print. If you ever decide to post pictures of yourself on the internet (Example, on Instagram) Make sure you keep your account private, and only ever allow people you know follow you. Not even people you know in real life, make sure you can at least trust them a bit, you never know others true intentions.
Lastly, maintaining a positive digital foot-print is important, because having a negative digital foot-print can effect your future, applying to universities/colleges, how others see you, and much more. It’s genuinely better to maintain a positive digital foot-print than a negative one, even if you think the aspects of a digital foot-print won’t matter near future for you.
