Creative Thinking competency
In the candy compound project, I used various Creative Thinking skills. I could communicate with others and build off of their ideas on my own. I had to be able to open my mind to different suggestions from others to be able to complete this project, however, I had to come up with my ideas to be able to display the compounds and their correct formulas correctly. It took brainstorming and individual thought to make the candy compounds. I had to think creatively, about how to attach the candies to the toothpicks and correctly attach each molecule to its correct counterpart. The hardest part was finding the proper shape for each compound that accurately displayed the formula. In conclusion, this assignment challenged my creative and critical thinking skills and allowed me to try new ways to succeed.
