Facing a Challenge

The first time I tried this problem I found it challenging because I did not know the correct steps and order in which to complete them. I made the mistake of multiplying the radicals incorrectly at the start which caused my answer to be wrong in the end. It really frustrated me, because I kept trying different orders or steps but still kept getting the wrong answer. I used different strategies until I found one that worked, which was using photo math. I looked at the answer and solved it backward going step by step until I saw where I went wrong. I needed to understand the concept of foiling to solve this problem, as well as how to simplify radicals and collect like terms. At the end of the question, it was also necessary to reduce the fraction. The next time that I encounter a difficult problem like this, I will try the strategy that helped me with this question, which is working backward from the answer and solving the problem that way.
