Personal/ Social Responsibility
During the lab, I worked with two partners to build a Rube Goldberg machine. I showed personal and social responsibility by helping clean up area and giving my group ideas on how to improve the project. I also listened carefully when my partners shared their ideas, and we tried different things to see what would worked best. I made sure we worked together respectfully and supported each other.
Reflect on Design 1
In the first day lab, my partners and I we made it a Rube Goldberg machine everything worked well, but one part it didn’t worked very well that part was curve, it didn’t worked it was our first day lab we didn’t chose the right materials for the curve, so we had three dais lab to make a better machine. It was very hard to find the right material’s in the lab, there were lots of martials. We found a curve machine with my partners in the second day lab that material worked very well for the curve. The initial end result for our machine was that the marble should roll and land inside a box at the end. That was our goal when we first planned it. But everything didn’t stay the same because we had to change some parts during the lab. Some parts didn’t work how we expected, so we fixed them to make the marble move better and reach the box. If I were to do this project again, I would choose the materials more carefully because some of them didn’t work well in our first try. I would also talk with my group more before starting, so we can plan better and decide what we need to change to make the project work even better.
