Core Competency Reflection

I showed my ability to critically think about my work carefully. Once I understood my work, I was able to come up with the calculations and placements of drawings quickly. I was able to double and half the calculations of my original drawing without stress.

Two strategies I used to complete this assignment are multiplying and dividing. I used multiplication to find the scale factor of two, and I found the scale of 1/2 by using divisionr.

My communication showed, when I was asking Mr. Little for help understanding the idea of the assignment. I went to Mr. Little and we had a detailed conversation on what would work and what would not work. Once I showed Mr. Little my work he said I had done a great job.

One goal that I have to work on was showing a better critical thinking during this assignment from the beginning. This would have benefited greatly. My critical thinking was lacking in this moment, even though I showed it in other parts of this assignment. My goal is to read the instructions more thoroughly, and pay more attention to my teacher when he is explaining assignments.
