A takeaway I have from this presentation is that as long as cpr is being administered it can prolong someone’s life for hours. I also didn’t know that cpr was to keep the heart pumping I thought it was only to keep the lungs pumping. In cpr I found it shocking how easy it is to break women’s ribs i knew you had to for cpr to work. With this presentation I can now analyze evidence to make judgments for the proper precautions to save someone’s life using cpr
I am clear on the difference between simple “group work” and collaboration as evidenced by splitting my work evenly with my group partner. We both used our ideas to improve our ocean floor model project. One activity that stimulates my imagination is making the ocean floor model it was fun making different animals of the ocean. a strength i have in this class is working on group work i tend to more in a group than by myself because i don’t like dragging people down. A stretch is getting my own work in on time, time management.
i am clear on the difference between group work and work on my own because when I’m in a group I try harder than I would if it was just me because I never want to feel like I cant hold my own weight on something. its different when I’m working on my own I don’t care as much as long as I pass but when it comes to group work I don’t want to drag people down or have them do everything.
This year, I will respectfully advocate for my needs by asking questions when I need help or when confused. I will also leave myself more time to do my homework. Some of my strengths and stretches are I can finish my work fast in good quality but I procrastinate a lot. I plan to address them this year through doing my work as soon as I get the opportunity.
Making cookies isn’t a very hard process but you must make sure to use the right equipment it is best to use an electric mixer more than anything.it is also very important not to over mix the dough as they no longer hold their shape and spread. I worked well with my partner in this lab. we both contributed in making decisions with the recipe.
One goal I have moving forward is finishing assignments in on time. I working on that goal because time management is important also when I have late assignments I tend to rush them, which makes them worse. To achieve that goal I will just do my work I have free time already, I just don’t use it.
during this assignment i learned the difference between acids and bases i learned how to be safer in a lab. i had to identify acids and bases based of of the reaction the chemicals would make mixed together.
during this assignment i could have worked faster and finished the lab sooner. this connects to core competency because you need to read the ph scale to understand the lab.
my year has been good i have enjoyed it. even though the football team hasn’t had a very good season i still enjoyed it and i think we are going to be successful next season. i think our team will build off all the positives of last season
i would like to work on handing in work on time and also studying more often. this year i have a lot of late homework assignments and some incomplete and i would like to work on that.
2 actions im going to out in 2 hours of work as soon as i get home and put other things i do aside like games and TV
This year i have enjoyed science and metal/wood i enjoyed science because doing labs with my friends was very enjoyable. My favorite project in metal/wood was was probably making a ring. the science lab i enjoyed the most was probably a egg drop challenge.
