I am clear on the difference between simple “group work” and collaboration as evidenced by splitting my work evenly with my group partner. We both used our ideas to improve our ocean floor model project. One activity that stimulates my imagination is making the ocean floor model it was fun making different animals of the ocean. a strength i have in this class is working on group work i tend to more in a group than by myself because i don’t like dragging people down. A stretch is getting my own work in on time, time management.
i am clear on the difference between group work and work on my own because when I’m in a group I try harder than I would if it was just me because I never want to feel like I cant hold my own weight on something. its different when I’m working on my own I don’t care as much as long as I pass but when it comes to group work I don’t want to drag people down or have them do everything.
during this assignment i learned the difference between acids and bases i learned how to be safer in a lab. i had to identify acids and bases based of of the reaction the chemicals would make mixed together.
during this assignment i could have worked faster and finished the lab sooner. this connects to core competency because you need to read the ph scale to understand the lab.
my year has been good i have enjoyed it. even though the football team hasn’t had a very good season i still enjoyed it and i think we are going to be successful next season. i think our team will build off all the positives of last season

This year i have enjoyed science and metal/wood i enjoyed science because doing labs with my friends was very enjoyable. My favorite project in metal/wood was was probably making a ring. the science lab i enjoyed the most was probably a egg drop challenge.

i chose this video because its the best catch of this past nfl season in my opinion. i also play football so it just works out for me.
if i where to do either one of these projects again their is a lot of things i would change. For the egg dropper i would make a parashoot for my egg dropper. for my golf ball tower i would be more conservative with my supplies.
i’m more proud of my golf tower because i did better in that then in my egg dropper. my strategies where to make a pyramid around the egg tightly so it wouldn’t move but it was uneven so it fell on its side.

Participating in group work is a strength i think i have we had a group project in math and i helped a bit in that i also liked doing projects in woodwork with my friends.

i feel i like group[ projects a lot because i dont have to figure everything out on my own. i also tend to finish them faster because i would be messing other people up if i didn’t do my part.

I can work with others to achieve a goal. I can ask and respond to questions to be an active, supportive listener.
If there is disagreement within the group, I find it helpful to try both ideas to see what works better.

working with my group was a 3 out of 4 how i contributed was by helping with calculations.i did not use any of my groups solutions because i liked my own solution.

i chose stocks because it can have good profit but it can also have decline witch is the only risk i see in my plan.
