My Grade 9 Year:
I believe this was year was a great introduction to my high school experience and i got to explore a lot of things of what i like to do. I think my first semester was my favourite semester as i had already a lot of my friends from middle school but i still got the chance to make many new friends that then got carried over into my second semester classes. This doesn’t mean that my second semester is fun its just started and I’ll have more fun down the road. I think one of the hardest classes i had this year was science class, but i still got to learn lots and passed the class. My easiest class would have to be guitar class this semester, besides P.E. In guitar, I get to just play a guitar and learn about different bands and listen to music.
A Useful Educational Website:
https://www.britannica.com/topic/Bastille
This website helped me plenty of times especially in Social Studies, when researching about a unit and wanting to know specific details this helped a lot. I also liked the amount of images that they use in their pages and they give you a timeline as well. It also has a easy to understand catalog to tell what unit your in on the left side of the website.
A Useful Educational Website:
This Video was used during the beginning of my cooking class when we were preparing to make oatmeal cookies. I thought of this video as it was very informative and I’ve never really thought about the science behind the baking of cookies until this video. My favourite part was learning about what temperature is needed for the baking to do different things such as caramelization occurs at 356 degrees.
A Useful Educational Image:

This image was shown to me In Social Studies, when we were studying the French Revolution. It was a picture of the Bastille (a french prison) and i still remember loving this picture. I think i like it because of its level of detail showing the French peasants surrounding the prison and watching them get increasingly angrier with their rifles and cannons.
A Useful Educational Quote:
”I have no special talent, I am only passionately curios” -Albert Einstein
I like this quote and how it relates to me by if you want to do something your good at you don’t have talent, you just like doing it a lot. This relates to me playing the guitar, i was terrible at playing and didn’t know and notes, but i just wanted to learn an instrument really badly and so gradually, i got better.
