- Artifact: Find something you did during this class that you are proud of that highlights either your communication, thinking, or personal/social skills. Make sure your full name or personal information is not presented when you upload it on your blog.
My artifact is my instagram post I know I did very well on. I worked hard on my writing portion and my drawings. I used personal/social skills in Canva as I have knowledge in how to create a great post in that program.
2. Explanation: Curricular Competencies Reflection—Explain in a short paragraph how you demonstrated aspects of either significance, cause and consequence, perspective, evidence, ethical judgement, or continuity and change competencies.
I gathered lots of evidence and information from online resources to create my instagram post. I showed significance with the information, picture and layout. My perspective of Montequieu was demonstrated in my project. I also believe like others that he was a very intelligent philosopher. His belief in having all government levels equal was very smart. He tried to keep peace and equality. His judgement and theory of having the people elect the form of government was well established.
3. Core Competencies Reflection—Select a Core Competency (Communication, Thinking, or Personal/Social) that you grew in during this artifact and explain in a short paragraph how you did that. Select a Core Competency you didn’t use last time you posted on your Edublog and feel free to use more than one. You can use the Core Competency links or questions below to guide you in your reflective thinking:
Share the experience of critical/reflective thinking for your artifact (Consider strategies you used to solve a problem, how you analyzed evidence to make decisions or draw conclusions, how you used feedback to improve, how you conducted investigations into topics, and what you would improve on for next time).
I really enjoyed doing research on Montequieu. I gained knowledge of all his work and what he was known for. Researching brought alot of light into my thoughts. I learned what an amazing philosopher/writer he was. Montequieu was a powerful influencer. Alone he changed government and laws. People believed in him and his theories. Like today, us people have the right to vote. This all comes from past laws that were created and respected. In future I wouldn’t feel like I need to improve on my project, rather I would like to do more of these. I found this all very interesting and a great topic to discuss with my family at dinner.
