Plot, Character, Setting and mood

Explain how you figured out what your Avatar would look like.

I knew what my avatar would look like because at the beginning of the story it does a short introduction to who she is, what she looks like, and what was happening.

· How did you choose the plot points?

I chose the plot points by the build up of events. So when I read something and I thought it was an important part of the story that holds a lot of information I knew that needed to be a main plot.

· Explain how you figured out the setting in your story. What information led you to choose the pictures you picked for your plot points?

I figured out what the setting was because as they went more in depth about the characters they talked about there homelife and the kind of place that they lived in. The reason I chose some of these pictures is because I wanted the picture to re[resent the big idea of the plot. For example in plot one, the main characters house was destroyed/burned, so I put a burning house.

· Explain what the word mood means and how/why you picked the song that you picked?

The word Mood represent what you are feeling when reading it and the kind of atmosphere it has. Its created by the writer to make you feel more involved. The reason I chose this song was because through out the book it has a very cultural and uprising mood that when I thought about it, it was like a war of culture and society was building up, and this song gave me that same feeling so I chose it.

Core Competency Reflection

· I appreciate feedback on my work and test, and prefer it comes in the form of face to face talking or written form. This is because when we are face to face you can explain it better and more thoroughly.

· Some skills I have developed to make my creative activities better are adding more details into an idea so that it can be understood better and they can see it in my perspective.

· When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I like to take a quick walk to help stretch my legs and relax for a bit so that when I go back i’m calm and can start again.
